Its good to see your still uploading man. About two years ago i started my fitness journey and your videos with the no equipment were the ones that got me going. Since then, i have dropped 40 pounds of fat and added about 10-15 pounds of muscle and now have abbs. You probably wont see this comment but if you do just know to keep grinding and motivating because you change lives

Nice. My dad and sister became celiac recently. Dad was fine until his late 60's and my sister got cursed after pregnancy in her 30's. Crazy timing. They're both mourning the loss of gluten. I'll give these cookies a shot for them.

Yum. I will skip the chocolate chips, not because I don’t like them but because I have esophagitis and need to avoid chocolate. Maybe I can add wizzed up freeze dried strawberries and some walnuts or just blueberries. Seems like another hit to me.

why? real sugar is actually important for certain recipes in baking, and cold dessert products. and can be utilized well for pre-exercise activities. other than that, if I care about the calories at any particular time, I'll just use a 0 calorie sub

YES! I don't think sugar is great obviously but I'd rather put less of it or make syrup than to put those disgusting artificial sweeteners or stevia. I'm so sick of the fact that more and more foods only offer those as the sweetener in them. The minute I see "sugar free" or "no artificial sweeteners" on a package, I run the other way knowing it'll have that gross stevia aftertaste. I don't know how people tolerate it, but I'd really love to have some healthy food again that can just have LESS sugar instead of these alternatives.

Thank you for putting the grams into it recipe! Ways to increase the protein? Use half oat flour, half protein powder perhaps?

many thanks for the GF recipe Josh. These are next on my list. Edit: I wonder how these would be if you added some whole rolled oats and Raisins. Might cover for the bread-like texture.

I was thinking coconut, oats, and chocolate chips, a popular combo in my house. Extra texture might distract even more.
@bobnewkirk70032 ай бұрын
@@na195097 I grew up on Oatmeal Raisin with M&Ms so that's right where my mind went with the oat flour and texture concerns. Coconut would be a winner as well.
@na1950972 ай бұрын
@@bobnewkirk7003 lol. I dislike raisins, so ours became oatmeal chocolate chip and then later the coconut got added because we like softer cookies. It's cool on little taste changes create a new family tradition.

I'm currently dairy free. Do you think coconut yogurt would be a 1-1 substitute for the Greek yogurt?
@AshCosgrove2 ай бұрын
Just tried these and they're very good! Anyway to change these into double-chocolate with some cocoa powder? How much powder would you think if it's possible?
@-o-91552 ай бұрын
replace a tablespoon of the oat flour with a tablespoon of cocoa powder, and you can keep upping the ratio just replace it 1-1 and the recipe should be unaffected, until maybe you've replaced over half the flour with cocoa 😂 then you might start to notice a difference

So measured this exactly and even after sitting for something like 10 mins, got distracted looking for cookie scoop, my "batter" was still loose and runny anyone know how to fix?
@TheMealPrepManual2 ай бұрын
@@randyq378 did you use metric weights? I would just add more flour until you get the correct consistency. If you didn’t use Greek yogurt that could be an issue as well
@randyq3782 ай бұрын
@@TheMealPrepManual Yup I set my scale to grams and yes the container says original greek yougurt, The first test batch at the runny consistency just came out and the look a little flat and the chips sank but they taste ok, added another 80g of oat flour, all I had left, and it seems to have thickened up a bit but still not quite the same consistency. Edit: The next ones came out thicker but the chips that were on top just kinda melted maybe adding more towards the end will help or maybe its still cuz my batter is thinner than what is shown. Probably won't update again as I usually only try 1 new thing each week or two.
@TheMealPrepManual2 ай бұрын
@@randyq378 it could be the type of oat too. It’s hard to say exactly and I’m not sure why it happened because the recipe is quite simple so there really isn’t that much room for variations. The only other thing I can think of is that one of our scales could be off
@randyq3782 ай бұрын
@@TheMealPrepManual If a scale is off it's probably mine, as to a difference in the oats I use just regular oats from the store right now as I'm without a vehicle and the store with the better selection is over 5miles away and I'm not walking that far in 90+ weather but as soon as I get my car fixed I'll be going there and trying it out with rolled oats.
