This was a great interview. No one ever mentions that mental health is one of the keys to success in this business. Love the transparency.

This was a great interview and your sister has accomplished a lot, especially since she has 3 kids. One thing I noticed about you guys is that you are both very well-spoken, so very easy to listen to.

This was awesome and so relatable! I struggle with consistency as well and one thing I always think about is “why can’t I list with the same eagerness as I ship?” I’m always on time with shipping because it will instantly derail my ability to sell if I’m not. I need to apply that to more aspects than just shipping. We need to do a weekly call/accountability group for moms/women in reselling. We are alone all day working and then interacting with kids at night it’s easy to feel defeated. It would be good to have people to check in with weekly to say “what have you done for yourself this week?” Type accountability call. Thank you so much for sharing! I am the only mom I know who does reselling full time and it was nice to know someone else does too. 💕

Yes! Please come back with an update! Everything Chey said; lack of consistency, being late, excuses, perfectionism.. it’s like she was talking about me! So motivating to hear how hard she worked and how fast she turned things around🏆❤️ Great job Chey! And thanks Cayley for asking the BEST questions👏🏻❤️🏆

Great interview. I do love that you brought up mental health. This year I started scheduling exercise and house keeping into my work day. Even though it seems to have nothing to do with reselling I find that if I have a cluttered or messy house I don't get as much done (since I run most of my business out of my home). Just tidying for 15 minutes in the morning sets me up for a better day. Also if I start my morning with 30 minutes of exercise I get way more accomplished work wise than if I skip it.

I loved this so much! Hopped on earlier to see if y'all were live, and I saw your updated video with your sister. Realized I never watched this one, so naturally I wanted to watch it before the new one 😂 I have 3 children as well, and have been a stay at home mom with them for 4 years. This summer our routine will be changing, which will in turn have a big effect on my business. I really connected with this!

I have to agree about Mercari. A "lady" gave me a terrible feedback after she admitted to scamming me in the mercari message system. Instead of making things right, the Mercari CSR just deleted the messages. I was appalled since I had been on there 4 years, had 100% positive feedback with hundreds of sales! I was told that NO MATTER WHAT, Mercari does not remove feedback and I must have done something to deserve it. Within an hour, the buyer had my stuff, which at this point was now stolen, listed for sale in her account....never going back.

Thank you so much for the video, I appreciate it and it helps me alot....I just have to say, I have to take a breathe and say it's not personal & take my emotions out of my business...I try not to take the messages personal, I try to look at it as maybe buyer may have had a bad day, and we as people are all imperfect, so I try to be incredibly apologetic,...especially if I have made a mistake....but I appreciate you ladies so much, the draft savings bank, ❤️ the setting reachable goals...every since I started watching this C.E. channel, my business has improved and I have improved....❤thank you so much

This segment was GREAT. As a perfectionist I totally related to much of this. And started making changes about 3 months ago. I support the concepts. and can say it has helped grow my business. I went to an average monthly sales of $200 to $800. May I reached my sales goal of $1000. My biggest change I listed 2 items every day. Now I plan to work on 2 things you mentioned a) Having less perfect listing. b) start banking for my vacation. Your advice was so valuable & well received. ❤️😊👍

This was a clutch and deep conversation. I've been a full time ebay seller (along with writing and music) since 2011 and been through lots of ups and downs, in the economy and in life. When I lost my son in 2020, that crushed me. I'm JUST getting my stride back with my business in the way that I like to run it. Mental health is HUGE in our industry as entrepreneurs. Especially when you're the only or one of the very few moving parts in your system. If you're hurt, your business hurts. Thanks for being so real on this one!

Cayley, thanks so much for this perspective. I can totally relate to your sister. I can get so caught up in the details, each and every picture being perfect, etc. We we won’t even talk about my insecurities. Basically I am my own worst enemy and have all the potential in the world and need to get out of my own way. I have watched soooo many KZbinr’s and they have all helped, but for my particular situation this has helped the most. Thanks so much and the best of luck to you both!!!

My sister and I are accountability partners for our businesses. I'm full time and she is part-time, different product categories but same struggles. It's nice having someone who understands, and knows what everything means. We do the same discussion about mindset, attitude, goals, roadblocks, aspirations, etc. This was great!

If you think the best of your buyers, believing that they are honest and kind...you will be amazed at how they suddenly all become honest and kind! I was just like you, thinking the worst and being insecure...I changed my outlook and they all become much better! I do the same with my family and that helps too...I have a habit of catastrophising and being aware of that helps too...great interview, come back again!

Really enjoyed this interview with your sister! She has a lot of great tips. It took me running myself in the ground trying to list as much as I could every day to realize that’s no good for me or my business. As she also said, mental health is a big thing! I know I really doubt myself and feel lonely quite often. It sounded like she really struggled herself. I hope she knows she’s amazing for being a wife, mom and boss!
