Jesse, the amount of times you've watched Mat Armstrong's videos and you didn't think to check it with car vertical! 🤣🤣 only messing, absolutely loved this little series...quite unlucky for this to be the case but lucky that you can still at least breakeven or maybe even still make a little bit of profit but what you've learnt from fixing this car up has been worth more than the car itself cause now you have more experience on fixing cars up! onto the next one...still would love to see you fix cars up and hopefully ending up with a nice motor to either just sell on or maybe even to keep!

Guy would have known it says on the front of the logbook when they have been written off. You can also find out on auto trader if there written off by going to the sell your car bit and putting reg in.

On the front page at the bottom of your V5 it indicates how many owners and if its been categorised also. I always check that then do a HPI check or carvertical. I was caught out previously buying my first car and the owner wouldn't show me the V5. I learnt my lesson and lost £3000 on my first car. 😢 Just be careful car buyers and check as much as you can before handing over cash or agreeing to finance.

Shame Cat N’s are still something that holds such stigma… like others have commented, it is none structural and sometimes can be vandalism or cosmetic repairs just down to the fact of cost… there are many cars out there that may have had far more damage, even structural repairs where they have not been categorised as the owner has had the repairs done without involving their insurance. At least with this car/channel, everything is transparent. Good luck with the Sale. 👍

I always use Car Vertical when buying cars now, all thanks to Auto Alex KZbin. However I did once buy a Suzuki swift sport which was a cat N and I had that for 3 years and it was an amazing car but yeh resale value isn’t great on them sadly. Top video as ever mate keep it up bro 🔥

If it passes an MOT then it should be ok as it does say that it was repairable. List it as CAT N when you sell it and then it’s up to the buyer if they want it. Still loving all these vids and keep up the good work Jesse pal 👍

It is non structural which means it could have been keyed everywhere or or a door or wing dented, because it's an older car now they'll just write it off, someone has bought it back from insurance company and repaired it so your good to go but list it as cat n as I think you need to disclose it
