Couple of which are distant creatures swimming through terrain and scanner icons not changing in size based on distance you are away from said item. Countless other problems, but those two came to mind instantly for me

@@someone-ji2zb I also was disappointed that neither game lets you harvest resources from larger fauna. The fact that you can't get stalker fur after killing them, but instead have to use the Pengling spy for it, is such a weird requirement that is unintuitive. So unintuitive that I never figured it out myself playing the game, I only learned it from reading the comments on one of these videos. All the fur I got to make the things that needed them, I got from boxes. But more than anything... I want to eat the leviathans. Give me haunches of Reaper meat!

30:54 That secret tunnel is for people who didn’t have an Ion Cube on them when they found the teleporter, with it you can easily nip back to your base to get your ion cube stash without going past the giant ice worm. Anyway that thing is large and terrifying, you did a good job dealing with it.

You should play SOMA. I also have severe thalassophobia and really struggled with the open water parts. Unlike in Subnautica, where you have huge visibility and everything is bioluminescent, they do the ocean realistically. There's basically 0 visibility past a certain point. It's also a horror game (it's not scary at all if you don't have thalassophobia imo) and has a great story with interesting philosophical (ethics) themes. I'll sub if you play it 😊

It was on the Phi Robotics island, and they sort of popped in from time to time and all they ever did was nudge me around lol. With Below Zero drawing to a close, I'd love it if you'd consider playing Inscryption. It's cheap, it's not very long, and it has a strong cult following. Markiplier's viewcounts were very similar for both the Subnautica and Inscryption series. It's creepy and inventive, lots of "Aha" and "WTF" moments for viewers to enjoy your reactions. No grinding in the gameplay makes life easier for editor Butch. And you get to solve puzzles and be incredibly clever. No paragraphs to read, no oceans.

I have enjoyed your videos a great deal. Thank you for sharing them with the world. It must have been pure hell facing your fear and then letting the world see it. You are a brave man for doing so. I don't know if you have planned your next game yet, but I think you should consider Raft and Green Hell. Both are similar to Subnautica - Survival Crafting, but Raft is on a raft, and Green Hell is dropped in a jungle with nothing. If you consider going further afield, Far Cry Primal is a very good older game with a good story, Red Dead Redemption 2 has a great story and setting, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey has an amazing setting and story.

I am here to let you know something, once you finish subnautica don't assume you will become irrelevant. Your narration style is compelling and you have a lot of charisma. And since you got a lot of exposure you will definitely keep some viewers. If your views drop somewhat after playing subnautica don't be discouraged. Also I while I know you are a busy guy I recommend perhaps starting a new game series alongside subnautica to prime your audience into getting used to variety; if you seek to continue on KZbin of coruse.
