Met some of the finest ladies this year running tri-axles in the asphalt division for a client we have. Got to tell you, these girls are machines. I’ve been in this business for over two decades and I struggle to keep up with them. Nothing but respect. And I’m not the only fella who says so. When you see a woman in asphalt you better believe she’s earned the respect to be there. Even met a young lady running an asphalt spreader this summer as well. It’s nice to see women taking up the challenge. It’s not easy work tho so it’s particularly commendable and surprising to see this in my industry. It used to be non-existent.

My problem is the opposite. I had to retire due to health reasons in 2022. Now that I have recovered I work 2 part time jobs, although admittedly adding them both together don't make 40 hours a week. One week 33 hours the next one 29 hours. It is tough to sit around not doing anything.Merry Christmas to you, the pups and your family Becca.

I’ve loaded my flat bed with my older model tractors and trust me I wear my jeans with the patches because when I’m done I look like I crawled through one of those tractors oily all over. I’ve changed my clothes begotten getting back into my truck. Your work ethic far exceeds most people of your generation. Keep on keeping on. Hope you get a break with your family with the holidays.
