How cool is this? The "roots" of Funkadelic before they went (wonderfully) batshit crazy. Even this tune takes soul music to the edge...but doesn't jump. But thinks a whole lot about doing so!

The b-side "baby I owe you something good" was remade on their "let's take it to the stage" album in 1975. They slowed it down. This is a great record not too well known by most Funkadelic fans
