I Miss Vlogging

As I'm finishing my 6th year as a freelance photographer & filmmaker, I feel like it's a responsibility for me to be transparent about what life really looks like - not just the highlights. This is something that's been hard for me. I don't do well telling people about things I'm bad at. But I also think the photo & video industry is the biggest culprit of posting hype videos and beautiful photos without showing people the sacrifices it took to get those - and without showing people that because you're having to make sacrifices and because things are difficult it doesn't make you a failure. Nothing wrong with showing your highlights. You should show them, but I'd like to create a vlog series that shows some of the sucky parts as well. Alright that's all.
