Can I beat a Hardcore Nuzlocke of Pokemon Emerald using only the Pika Clones?
The Pika clones are pokemon like pikachu, introduced in each generation. They include all the electric rodent Pokémon, and IMO, marill and mimikyu as well. In this game, I've decided to attempt to beat Pokémon Emerald using only the pika clones, but it's also a hardcore nuzlocke. Let's see how it goes!

Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1) Catch one Pikaclone after each gym
2) If A Pokémon Faints, I Cant Use Them
3) No Items In Battle
4) Set Mode
5) No Over Leveling

@@Breloom_BattlesI used the awesome pokemon emerald expansion decomp as a base from rh-hideout. That game has the complete Pokédex with updated moves, types, etc. Then I just changed the sprites, encounters, and trainers in the code.

Emolga has saved me multiple times in lots of fangames with advanced AI, paired with Electavire with both having motor drive, double battles were a breeze

I still enjoy how of the Pikachu clones, there's only two that aren't part electric, and one of them is just a ghost dressed up like Pikachu and can arguably not count. I feel like it'd be fun if we one day get an electric marill regional line.

actually like all the pika clones expect pawmo ( I mean i like pawmo but im mad its evos look the same) also prefer morpeko as dark type. dont tend to think of it as electric

Emolga is a mixed bag of a Pokémon for me. I love it(it’s a cute adorable flying squirrel^ ^ )but at the same time, I suffer from ptsd because of it. I remember losing around 10+ times to Elese and her Emolga during a Pokémon white playthrough, and almost lose a nuzlock in Pokémon black to her despite having 2 ground types on my team.

So I actually liked Eevee as a starter, before he became the unofficial second mascot of the franchise... I used to joke that Eevee was technically a starter pokemon because it's the pokemon you're supposed to get in yellow, only to instead get pikachu... It's why I bought Let's Go Eevee instead of Let's Go Pikachu (Well that and because Pokemon Yellow already exists as a game...) I don't really have a favorite Pikaclone, but I guess I'd go with Mimikyu, just because it's got a lore reason for existing beyond just "Oh sometimes things are just similar) Also a cool fact/observation/theory I read that I like to share is why Mimikyu doesn't have gender differences despite wanting to be Pikachu... it's because it's going off of 20 year old merchandise, before gender differences were a feature...

Pawmot is useful, that is true. I used it on my Scarlet playthrough. I would still prefer to not get any more Pika-clones, and would much rather get more Eeveelutions. Its been way too long since we got the latest one. Also, even tho I dont care about the clones, the video was still great and entertaining.
