Welcome to NYC Milo I'm from the Bronx born and raised. You will find good and not good people like any where in the world it's just that here being a very large population you fine more of the good and the bad lets say, however it's not 50/50 there's a lot more good by far. Like any where Milo just use your head and common sense and in time you'll get to really know all the in's and out's the do's and don'ts. Just don't go jogging alone in the park at 2 in the morning and you'll be fine. I wish you well and much success.

Welcome to NYC. As a native New Yorker and a person who lived in the projects you will always find that people who have never lived there have negative opinions about it. I just want you to know that it’s there loss because some of the smartest people I know came from them. Stay positive and blessed and enjoy yourself in this melting pot which is NYC and continue the good work with your channel.

Welcome to New York, it's a really nice city. But.. this isn't Stockholm or a suburb to Stockholm, be aware and don't walk around in your own little bubble because there is plenty of real creeps in this City and its surrounding areas, don't make a pattern of your walks outside no matter its daylight or dark, don't let people following you see where you live, just don't walk home if you have someone following you, try to "shake" him off first, if I would be you I would absolutely try to avoid being outside as much as possible when its dark outside and/or at night, just try to make all your errands during daylight. Just make sure to stay safe and be aware and you will manage pretty good i think. Just don't fall for nice compliments from male strangers, all of a sudden all males even here in the comments lives in NY and would love to "help" you out..

This is cool seeing your renewed energy and passion for creating. I'm impressed youve already visited Rooselvelt Island, the tram has such a charm to it. Yup there are many kinds of people here in NYC, its a big melting pot of ignorant folks and stereotypes but also some really cool people in unlikely places. Everything you say is making sense. I really like those parks on the East River especially near 42nd, hope you get to visit more. So far my only advice stay positive, keep alert and just follow your dream. NY is a place that accepts so many of different kinds, it wont take long to fit in and if you know where you can find trains, buses, you cant ever get lost. Lastly kudos for walking 60 Manhattan blocks, i like to walk too but i might only walk like 30 blocks after work but yes walking is reliable way for exercise if trains are delayed or unsafe.

2:51 You mention people not caring and not being able to connect with your foreign viewers. I think the answer is in the statement you made about making content that wasn't "you". I mean if you think about it, if you do content that isn't you, it carries over into the presentation. And if you don't care, why should anyone else? Which in my opinion leads to people not caring and you not being able to truly connect with viewers. NOW, with all of that being said, I enjoy your vlogs! Seeing your day to day and or vacation/ outings lets us into your world... it's you being you! And that's what we (ultimately speaking for myself) care about! Welcome to the States, Milo! Listening to the last portion of your video was a little sad. I hope you don’t get too jaded by America. What you described is kind of everywhere now, worse or better depending on which part of America. Personally I think it has a lot to do with our politicians. People are generally good, but people also can be manipulated and politicians do that constantly.

Come on now, you know this has been going on wayyyyy longer than politics, ever since the inception of this country it has been turmoil and a certain group is always getting dog piled on wether it's deserved sometimes and when it's not. That's just the way this society is, you can't do anything about it. It's been built on this.
