Thank you for the update on glad you, your family and the building is ok. A friend of mine took all of his trees that is within an acres around his property because he was scared they would fall on the house.

Thank God everyone was ok! But ah, man, Godspeed you can repair and recover quickly. I also know from living in Florida tree fights with houses can be pretty brutal!

Oh that's very annoying, but the main thing is that nobody was hurt and I hope something like that doesn't happen again.

Thankfully, nobody’s hurt! 🙏🏻☺️ I agree that you guys should probably get rid of some (if not all) of those other trees. That would have the added benefit of letting more natural light into your home - possibly even a few less bugs coming in “to visit”! 😉 Plus less cleaning of the roof (which is a right hassle!). Perhaps you could convert some of the tree stumps into foundations for garden benches or something… 💡🤔

You got away with that with minimal damage, lucky. In Australia we have Ghost Gum trees. Beautiful looking but known to randomly drop giant heavy branches that’d crush your car. That’s why you should never sleep/ camp under one. (Excuse my ramble mate.. coffee loaded haha) Ps: house is looking great so far 👍

Luckily no-one got hurt! BUT it's time to see those kendo moves with an authentic katana in samurai style :O That video would smash the algorithm.

I got 4 walnut trees that if they come down they will hit my roof, that is one thing I have always looked out for is not let the trees grow high enough to hit your house when they come down. but we moved into a 100 year old home that has 4 walnut trees going along the front of the house they are taller then the 2 story home and I have to trim the limbs back every summer, it just a matter of time when they come down

Lucky one that,... Have you ever done a short video about movies that are, in your opinion, more historically accurate to your material. Ninja and samuri,... also maybe have a section for chessey ninja/samuri films coz that a flash back to the past. 👍

Yes I have done a few of them

I've been an insurance broker for 15 years and I've never heard "act of god" mentioned professionally. Insurance poliies cover specified "perils" the standard being Fire, Lightning, Earth Quake and Aerial and Vehicular impact. (FLEA). Most insurance policies will provide specified / standard perils cover and that would usually include Storm damage and then things like Theft, Malicious damage or subsidence. Depending on the definition of "buildings" under your insurance policy, the roof, fences and windows would be covered. Given this is not a complete house you or the contractor may have needed to arrange Contract Works Insurance. Whilst I'm here just confuse everyone Flood, Escape of Water and Storm are three seperate perils. I am great fun at parties....
