To be honest, the musical numbers in Family Guy are my favorite part of the show. I started watching in 2005 as an 11 year old, and somehow Seth MacFarlane managed to make a prepubescent child, and later a teenager, absolutely love musicals and appreciate all of the talent and work put into them. At the same time, I played contact sports and went fishing and hiking. If it wasn't for Family Guy, I probably would have spent my younger days thinking that musicals are "geeky" or "lame" or some other kind of TV trope that was drilled into my very impressionable brain.

I really miss Family Guy being great. The first six seasons are unforgettable. We got spoiled with how long the fourth season was. I'm glad it has so many great episodes to come back to. And I suppose the seventh and eighth seasons are alright. It really didn't drop hard until the ninth season.
