Fun fact: I believe after 2009 Thundercats got rebooted and was played on Cartoon Network. It was actually good and had good animation, pretty decent for today as well I believe.

yeeeeah~ both shows tried to be.. well, shows, but you must understand one thing about the 80's: if you wanted to sell a product to kids, make a toy line THEN make a show about it! seriously, take any series from the 80's (TMNT, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Care Bears (even if that was from greeting cards), etc.) and it most likely has a long list of toys! that is why when the guys had to talk about how insanely strong these 2 are that's cause the producers were like ".... crap, what does he do???" and then procced to ask kids what they should do. i assume, but that's my best guess.🤣

For context about the Superman thing, DC had a crossover with He-Man and Thundercats once, DC has had many crossovers with many franchises over the years, they've crossed over with Hellboy, the Mask, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Terminator, Xenomorphs from the Alien series, the Predator, Mortal Kombat and even Marvel comics. Also for the next episode, watch it till the very end, there's something that plays after the credits. And finally, this is my favorite season premier of the show, the cheesy 80s magic is a beautiful thing, and it was all over this fight. Sure there are ones that are overall better, but sometimes I just want to leave my brain to the side and just have fun with the absurd and ridiculous insanity of what I'm watching, and this episode is one of those cases.

My god the 80s cartoons were HILARIOUSLY lame. You were in the era where the original scooby doo got replayed on Cartoon Network. Go back and give it a watch. It was TERRIBLE, but charming. And if you want a series to react to try Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. Best that show ever got, and it happened in the 2010s. Actually has a full narrative and breaths new life into characters that used to only have catch phrases and that's it.
