It's been a year, Jeff; how's the bug situation? I followed on your other outlets except TikTok, but only because I don't have a TikTok. And you've been a great help - much more than anything/anyone else. You put everything into a good realistic perspective, which is tempering but also more motivating. I'm just getting started. I haven't tested yet (NASM) but I've passed my practice exams with better scores each time. I'm slightly wary, but also looking forward to getting into this. It's going to be a major lifestyle adjustment.

Hey man just stumbled upon your channel and it’s awesome, very good information, I have a question for you , do you think it’s worth buying the elite trainer program from Nasm ? It includes Nasm-cpt, ces , pes , cnc , 4 certifications, is it worth it in your opinion, or would it make no difference from having just Nasm cpt certification only ? Sure I would have more knowledge with 4 certifications, but is it worth it in your opinion? Do you think it would help get more clients etc ? Thank you and keep up great work

Nah it’s probably not worth it. I’d strongly recommend just getting the standard trainer certification and getting some experience after that. Clients never care about extra certifications. Those are something to consider later on when you need CEC’s

Off topic but in my gym I've seen many trainers not recommending heavy strength training and building muscle mass for the general public. Even tho muscle mass is the #1 body defense and strengthen mechanism against diseases. Everybody needs muscle mass. And im not even a trainer! Is there not a personal trainers union or trainer advise in your employment you could go to? If you dont want to lift weights then your not a client for me.

I’m not completely sure why trainers wouldn’t recommend building muscle mass or heavy strength training but those are two things that are definitely important.
