I appreciate the videos you make, I find their quality to be on par if not better than some of the more popular channels and hope to see your goal come to fruition!

Your current way of capturing images looks extremely nice and works very well.

I just found you in another post. I hope you got what you needed. Your videos are very professional and your voice makes in better…not just the accent but the tone and pace of your voice is really professional sounding. I live in Los Angeles know if you people that do voice work. I think the going rate is around $500-$600 an hour. You may want to send some of your videos to Science Channel or other channels that use a narrative voice. Just a thought but I do think you should try.👍🙏🏻🌸

Hey, Martin, thanks for the excellent content. As a professional microscopist, I can tell you that no camera will capture what your eyes actually see through the microscope and no screen will display it. That's just the limitations of the technology. Keep up the good work!

Hi John. I am glad you like the content. I know that I can’t achieve the exact image I see. But I know that I can get a lot closer than I am able to with my iphone. So being able to use an adapter with higher quality optics and a camera with an aps-c or full frame sensor should improve the quality quite a bit 🔬

Hi, I appreciate your work, and could give you a help. I just want to know, actually, how you can do some dark field or oblique illumination with the Motic ? The easiest way is to use some filters with various forms and / or dark spot in the center... BUT , the Motic has not a swing filter holder ... Could you explain how for the DF, oblique illumination and polarization techniques with this Motic microscope ?

Hi. The Motic i use have a slot for a slider that holds the filter (called a darkfield slider). They are available on their website. For the polarized light you can either buy some polarizing film on eBay/amazon yourself, or use the polarizing kit Motic makes specifically for their microscopes. As for the oblique illumination I use in my videos, that is a “special” technique I have invented myself. Feel free to contact me by email if you want to hear more about the technique: mymicroscopicworld@gmail.com

@@mymicroscopicworld Thank you My Micorscopic World and Chan Kai Wen . I have tried a BA310 in a shop with DF slider but I found it very limiting and could not achieved a very good dark background , almost dark gray but never as black as your videos. I have tried Polarizing kit too but a little bit disappointed because the subject is not as sharp as in Bright field. So I prefer the solution of several filters with different forms that offer more flexibility and variety but could not use on the motic because the lack of the filter holder. I am so curious about your special technique for oblique . My technique is almost like Chen Kai Wen has described but I took a two head goose LED lamps and make some variations with the light beams and achieved some special effects
