To whoever is edititing this video, fantastic job! I watched the whole thing, and wasn't the slightest bit bored. The cuts to different missions were perfect. The focus on the job was perfect. And shout out to the cinematographers and drone pilots, and of course Matt, who put this team together and sets the standards. This is one of the most entertaining rescue channels in the world. I used to live in Mesquite Nevada and these shows remind me a lot of the endless times I spent in the Arizona Strip. The landscape of Southern Utah, Nevada and Arizona can be quite alluring and beautiful. Even though I'm in the Sierra Nevada's of California I'd still could be Very Happy in Southern Utah. Speaking of the recovery aspect here, my grandmother died out in the Arizona Strip because my grandfather tried to drive a Grand Marquis from Mesquite NV to St. George UT the back way on dirt roads ( a 60 mile route that only a good 4WD should be on ). Yes, clearly he had No business being out there with that type of vehicle and to me it's clear he must've been having cognitive problems. If I remember correctly it was in February so it's usually pretty cold at that time. It's a long story but once they got stuck my grandpa eventually went to look for help, even if they had a cell phone there's usually no reception out there or least there didn't use to be. My grandmother was found laying on the ground outside the car and had succumbed to the elements by the time any help arrived. I don't think my grandpa ever wanted to live again after that and it was only 6 months or so afterwards that he passed away.

So many people in so many triangles of death, one guy got clotheslined on a rubble slope and kept his footing (and his neck) luckily. Matt was so tired at the end partly due to the stress of managing such a complex operation, plus the deep knowledge that more than one tenet of safety was broken that day. I've made mistakes and just hope no one gets hurt, not judging

I just recently found your channel after watching the joint recovery between you and Dave Sparks. This is the first video I've seen of your tow truck really in action and I'll be honest, this would be nearly impossible for any other rig. First, just getting a tow truck up that trail is impressive enough, but working on that tiny shelf road and all of the off angles that you had to pull is mind blowing. Having the side winches was genius! Wiley Coyote would even be impressed.

Living in South Africa, we have similar open spaces, to which we sometimes escape for recreational pleasure and sometimes pain, when we come undone. We don't ever need to extract ourselves from snow with crawlers because we only have snowfall in highlying mountain peaks, where one of the few roads on a mountain is San Pass which until perhaps 10 years ago didn't even have blacktop, where snowfall sometimes makes the road impassible and the local Basuthu tribesmen use ponies to get about. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and all the inserts. I've lost track of the rebuild on the little yellow Suzuki SJ410. Love it when Lady and Peanut join you on missions. I gather that you and your crew are all people of faith as I've never heard crude language. Keep up the good work and strength to you and your crew.

Great video. Throw a few short pieces of light angle iron in your welding kit. If you need to patch something back together on the trail, butt weld it as you did then scabbing a piece of angle along the sides is magnitudes stronger than just butt welding it. Clamping a scab on with several hose clamps is surprisingly strong if you don't abuse it too bad.

Super video and a very good and dangeres job done. Matt, you're right CrMo, it's a bit different to weld. Your repair skit is missing a good strong small torch, in Germany, say soldering flame. Plus some ceramic wool. Contact thermometer. Heat to approx. 250°C - 480°F, weld, heat the welding point to red-hot (600°C - 1120°F), insulate and then wait a good hour, then this welding point will also hold. Sure, it costs time and money, but you are also keeping your own people safe and that is the most important thing. Greetings from Frankfurt

So much excitement and tension in this episode. Very impressive puzzle y'all put together there. You obviously had a big extra hand watching over you all with the risks and questionable links to unknown stability. And nothing with tires should ever be in certain parts of this world. Pretty sure this area is one of those. Much respect to you all.

Wow. That was an amazing job. Doing this kind of thing would be hard enough with all of the space in the world. And good job capturing everything to tell the story.

I used to live in Hurricane years ago. My back yard bordered the cemetery. The last week of October i took my sons into M.O.R.R. we got some stickers and a tour of the yard. It was awesome what they have going on. Wish I could do something like this.

I love your videos. Helps me learn how to self rescue from the hairy situations ive gotten myself into in the Oregon Outback and mountains. I hope I dont jinx myself but so far ive been adequately prepared and never had to call for help (crosses fingers).

That was a tough one. There were times where it felt like the crew was a bit too close to the danger zone for my liking, but its not like I could see a lot of options. Glad you got the job done safely!

Great video. Good job to you and your team for getting that Razor off the mountain. I really like when you use the additional side wenches. Using those angles really is a savior for what you do and gives you a little more confidence in the gear. That wrecker is just awesome!

One of the best demonstrations for the use of drones. Having a "little scout, eye in the sky" is immensely useful in a lot of outdoor activities,

Great video! I think the wrecker needs a set of “leaner” air bags so you can lean the body left or right around those tight spots. Or better yet use you side winch’s to compress the left of right suspension as needed. Another good thing to have is an assortment of steel bars and U-bolts so you can easily splice together broken struts, welding if necessary.

Matt. I believe you've found the elixir for Eternal Youth and it's awesome that wether you know it or not you're teaching a many good lessons to many people. To do something you like, are good at and effects other's in a positive way should be the place we all are reaching for.
