I shared about a ten-minute conversation with him alone while he was in the hospital and we were taking care of him. My mother had passed away when I was 10. And she loves Charlie Pride and play played his records all the time. Bye told him that and he said that his mother had passed too. And then he said I'm sure both our mothers are looking down at us now and smiling . I will never forget that

My dad had a huge record collection. He would often take time to put music on and sit there and listen. I find myself going through the albums and being amazed at some of my findings. One day I pulled out ‘Charley Pride,’ so I put it on to listen. I was blown away and immediately fell in love with his voice and his songs. I thank God for him❤️

What an amazing tribute to a great man!! When his son talked about not having regrets because they lived a full life together I cried. What could be greater than that at the end of our lives? I remember my great-grandmother and I watching Charlie Pride perform on tv back in the early 70s and his voice was so smooth.

Charlie Pridewas my favourite singers. I listened to his songs everydayand they really bring joy into my life. When Mr. Pride passed away in 2020, I was lost for words and realized that the world had lost a great man. Even though I lived in the Bahamas, I would make it my business to find his C.D's. A few of my favourite is I am so afraid of loosing you again, and Is anybody going to San Antone, just name a few. Rest in peace My singer, we'll miss you always.

I loved Charlie's music. You are a wonderful son who knows the value of a very decent man. I know because I feel the same about my dad who passed away in 2010. In fact my mum was also a wonderful person so I was doubly blessed. I know you will always miss your parent but will have such beautiful memories as I do and so do my children. Good luck to you and your mum and family from Australia. Keep his legacy alive for us all. Xx

I was in my 1977 Chevy Nova in the year 2000 at a car wash in Dallas, Texas where I lived. I was in my car in line at the car wash when I noticed Charlie Pride inside at the glass window starring at my car. He stood up staring at my Nova. I was so taken with his attention to my car that once I came up the line and turned my car over to the car wash people, I came inside to see if I could talk to Charlie. My thought was he might have owned a similar car or perhaps thought I was driving a car he once owned. I was so bummed that he had already left. But I will always have that sweet, sweet memory.

Hopefully Mr. Pride is allowed to REST IN PEACE , HE CERTAINLY DESERVES IT.🙏🏼✝️♥️ His family don’t need to hear unkind things about him.
