I wasn't expecting the game to throw us into a cinematic right away haha, but MAN this game was a pleasant surprise! I haven't played Persona before so this is my first experience with any game from Atlus and it really didn't disappoint! Let me know if you'd like to see more videos for this playthrough! :)

@@lunitygaming Same here only turn based game I've played is "Marvel's Midnight Suns" & Now "Metaphor Re Fantazio" and let me tell you i have fallen deep in love & I'm definitely gonna give the Persona series a try & now I'm even looking forward to "Expedition 33" when it releases lol, Metaphor has converted me to liking this Genre, i guess it's cause I'm now older idk shits weird lol.

I beat the game yesterday on Hard after 92 hours. Now I play it again on the highest unlocked difficulty. Its a masterpiece ❤

There are 8 major tribes, with the Elda being a less talked about and majorly discriminated 9th tribe that many dont believe even exists. The Memorium was only showing the immediate ones you've learned or heard about, not every tribe that exists on record.

Atlus games are long but really worth it imo, this one is the culmination from all they learned through the years. I hope you can continue it and give it a chance, given your anime preferences I think you’ll like it. Best way to approach it could be chunks like take on a big story beat then a small break and so on in case you feel burnt out or be a degen like others and play none stop lol. Anyways hope you can continue it if you’re liking it.

Just so you know, all those buffs to your Mage's Attack stat were wasted MP - Attack only affects physical attacks. For a spellcaster you'd want to buff the Magic stat.

not gonna lie im jelly that u fought that Dragon in the beginning, and got that chest, i saw it too, and wanted it so bad, but my ding dong head decided to actually listen to the old man Gries about sneaking by the dragon thinking we werent ready or strong enough to fight it yet and i missed out on that dope great sword for Strohl. :( heard it's one of his best weapons in the game too girl so congrats on that.

If it makes you feel better, it’s far from one of the best weapons in the game. It’s just really good for the first arc/dungeon, especially once it’s purified at the church. So it’s a big help in the early game, but very quickly outpaced.

Then you must try Persona 5 Royal. Highly recommended, my opinion it's better than Metaphor Refantazio in many aspects. Give it a consideration.

ive played p5 before p4 and p3 so they were a downgrade for me but persona 5 is easaly my favorite game (with my decisions, the game can be really different if you make other decisions)

I'm 20 hours into Metaphor and I've only done one story dungeon. Many people don't finish them. Not trying to discourage or anything 😅.

It's a less stylish version of persona. Still persona combat is better. Only reason to play metaphor is story.
