I'm so sorry Lunity......but what is with girls being terrified of spiders? I have witnessed myself 2 girls almost jumping into water at beach when tiny little harmless spider was lurking in their beach towel. Of course many of them are venomus but overall they are docile if you don't aggravate them. Even now one is lurking in my apartment hunting in the night of little incescts that passes my incesct nets. They are very useful to keep harmful bugs out of your body. So you should be happy to see one in your apartment.....perhaps even right ABOVE YOU! Sorry......couldn't resist 😁

I recomended using spellbinder more, cuz those fights u been struggling in the first place is not gonna be a problem anymore once u use spellbinder, and trying get used to it, i promosi it's worth it

Btw, the 4th sister is Wukong's lover in the past life, so if you notice she has been helping us this whole time in chapter 4. She is looking out for you until the last part she shouts for you to run before she gets caught by the Supreme inspector who works for the celestial court.

Lunity if you are into the story and lore of the game I recommend you to watch a couple of videos from AvenueX she is a Canadian Chinese who is versed in Journey to the West but also plays the game and understands the connection of both she also will explain in detail of what happens each chapter, even as detail as what is the meaning of Yaoguai, etc. Even I who grew up watching the 1986 TV show of Journey to the West still had a lot of details I missed from the game. This will lead you to really understand the True Ending of the game later and trust me it's so beautiful.

There is a great Farming spot for levelling up, next to the Jade pool checkpoint. Blow up the egg sacks on the right side, with the Ashen Wake transformation. Only if you wish to level up sparks. I'm chapter 6 end boss, amazing game. Enjoy

Chapter 4 has as much if not more content as chapter 3, probably the most of all the chapters. Chapters 3 and 4 are by far the beefiest.

If you think humans are greedy, then you already fall into Yellowbrow's trap. Let me explain. The monster in the animation is Yellowbrow in another reincarnation. He is inherently greedy so he wants to justify it by saying that all humans are greedy too so he reincarnates himself into a monster that can produce unlimited pearls. 1:21:34 If you notice the man was possessed and there is something that was pulling that man's collar, that was Yellowbrow doing it on purpose to spark the greed of the other villagers. Yes, human nature is fickle, but Yellowbrow doing it on purpose to force his point. 1. The villagers rescue him although he is a monster. But he didn't see the good of the people. 2. He gave the dying kid something and revived him, making the villagers more beautiful. The villagers made him some kind of a God. But he didn't see the gratitude of the people. 3. When he gave the pearls to the authority/officials, they didn't corrupt and shared it fairly even with the beggars the same. But he didn't see the good in the people. 4. They could've killed him sooner if they wanted to, but they didn't. He just needs to interfere to prove his point. 1:23:08 That's why at the end when he talks with Jinchanzi (which is Wu Kong's master in another reincarnation) he says "If not for winning, why debate over means and ends?" If you want to dig deeper into the lore of why Yellowbrow contradicts Wukong's master trip to the West with his own, I found across a video that explains it pretty well: look for Williamsweeb: Yellowbrow and His Disciples - The Contradictions of Enlightenment. TLDR he is just a sociopath who wants to make his own cult that contradicts Buddha's teaching.

Pluck of many doesnt take aggro away from boss. They just help stagger the boss. And as you can see some of the boss fights turn pluck of many against you, or just not useful at all.

Some chapter 3 context: I mentioned before that Journey to the West is about Monk Tang and a bunch of vice-obsessed demons assigned to be his bodyguards (Monkey, Pig, Bandit) on his pilgrimmage. Jinchanzi (the unexplained monk at the end of the animation) was a disciple of Buddha wrestling with the meaning behind his teachings, and to reflect on that, gets banished to live 10 lifetimes on earth as a pious man, and the final reincarnation of him was Monk Tang. Back when he was Jinchanzi: Yellow Brow believes in inherent evil in people while Jinchanzi believes in inherent good. The animation shows one of their back and forth attempts to prove each other wrong by observing human behavior. Yellow Brow's story is that he insecurely projects his own inner demons onto everyone else and is obsessed with showing that human nature is evil (even if it requires manipulating the results). This is a coping mechanism to self-rationalize his own personal failings, and Jinchanzi calls him out on it. His response is kind of like "Why argue unless you share this failing too? Check mate." Fun fact: the mini-boss "Non-Void" is the man from the Ch. 2 animation-- one of Yellow Brow's monks. He argues that ends justifies the means (killing Fox to prevent future dangers)-- Twisted thinking that humans are doomed by (theme of Ch.2 animation is that "lesser" and "higher" beings will tragically always be separated by that way of thinking-- which is also what Wukong says to Ox King in the Ch. 5 animation about how "simply existing as demons is a transgression in the eyes of gods"-- Bazie casually killing his Fox demon concubine is another example of this). Can't wait for the Chapter 4 videos. That's when the missing lore gets really fun.
