Ahh it’s definitely an adjustment when the little ones get more independent. My boys are now 17 and 28 and I am really lucky to have a great relationship with them. I had a hug from my great nephews the other day I hadn’t seen them for a very long time and then it hit me those precious hugs from my boys when they were little is something I miss dearly. Little hands holding yours and infectious giggles. Nostalgic moments for sure. Your soup looks lovely I’ll be making that for sure this week ❤ stay positive Emily it’s the only way, I love your videos. ❤

I agree. I'm still in the life stage where my kids are young. I have a 4 year old boy, a 2 year old boy, and a 3 month old little girl. I know from experience that these days and nights are precious. She is my last one so I look at everything as "the last". No more newborns for me. I will always, ALWAYS, miss those newborn snuggles. I'm a SAHM with an amazing support system and anytime I get a chance to sit down and snuggle my baby girl or my 2 year old who still snuggles, I do. I know from my 4 year old it wont last. I have to steal those kisses and hugs from him. It's heartbreaking. At one point in time he was my clingy one, I couldn't put him down. I HAD to hold him, I had to rock him etc. I remember those days and those nights and they are bittersweet that they are gone. One of my fondest memories is staying up all night long with him because he was throwing up alot, I wanted to make sure he was fine. So I stayed up, watched home improvement and crosstiched while he slept. I remember complainging so dang much because he was the type to wake up at 3am and be up. I remember, having to sit on the floor and play with him constantly. Now those days are gone, those moments of just me and him. Now he is a 4 year old who loves to play games on the swtich! LOL. We still have time together, just not like what we used too.

It definitely has changed but they still shower or bath every night - cause they get messy and it's a good habit I guess and they get screen time once they've had breakfast, got ready and are all ready for school and when they get home from school too before dinner xx
