Your last lap was really good Bruh you were talking your self through the motions (which is exactly what I used to do at sears point when I was learning back in the day). You are doing much better then that 1st track day ,and when you get to the point where you can do some late breaking to a perfect apex ... your going to be the one who is hard to catch. However there is no rush to get there. Keep getting your confidence up, Keep talking yourself through the motions. Learning to plan your route/apex entry is how you deal with traffic.

It’s fun, isn’t it. The funnest thing I’ve ever done. By far. It’s nice to see you trying out track riding. It’s a whole different ballgame. No worries at all. No idiots (traffic), dirt, gravel, or debris of any kind to have to watch out for. It’s truly free riding. However fast you wanna go. Whatever line you wanna take. If you think your knee hurt from that short ride, just wait til you ride a leg of an endurance race. Ever wonder why pro riders stretch their legs out frequently? You’ll find out. And, be prepared for when you dismount afterwards. Your legs may have less strength left in them than you expect. :) Also, you might wanna just remove the mirrors vs taping them. Slightly less weight and drag, and they actually create small blind spots. Plus, if you go down, that’s one less thing you’ll have to replace.
@crisnmaryfam7344 Жыл бұрын
4:40 used to riding with loose suspension on the road. Having slightly looser/softer suspension on the more "aggressive" streets (such as pot holes and undulations inn the asphalt) is actually a bit of an advantage, at least while on the road. Think of it like Rally suspension, They typically run softer rates and such to allow the tires to follow the road, keeping/finding more traction. However, on a nicely cared for, Smooth Track, the more stiff, higher spring rates and such, will perform so much better. Look at Automobile spring rates for off road and pure track racing, you'll see what Im saying. Granted, worn out suspension is bad period.. slightly softer does actually help on a street vehicle vs a track only one.

The biggest thing about increasing times on the track is use your brakes like your on the track not on the street you want to be using as much as you can in the shortest amount of time possible to get you through the turn. The other thing is the smoothness between transitions, you don’t want to upset the balance. The aggressive breaking and learning the line will shave those times down

Your lines are way better than last time and you can tell you are more confident in keeping the revs up. When you learn to kiss the mirror and get your body position off the bike to the inside you will be flying man. Your street riding will also improve as you learn the limits of that bike with way less distractions on track.

Great improvement over your first track day. Lines are looking good. A couple suggestions I would make is to avoid 1st gear on track. It puts you at a much higher risk of a false neutral. Second gear is sufficient and will allow you to get on the gas earlier, with less front end rise coming out of the turn. And fold your mirrors in, take them completely out of the equation and ignore everything behind you.

G.B I was just thinking about your track ride and I was remembering the times that I was so in to the LAGUNA SECA races in1989 and I used to watch how the riders were using there seating positions and and doing the cornering and what position they were getting into as they were coming to the corners and I used to study those racers so much, buti had my faves when it came to the riders : #1EDDIE LAWSON we called him STEADY EDDIE! He rode for YAMAHA!! #2 was WAYNE RAINEY #3 FREDDIE SPENCER #4 KEVIN SCHWANTZ #5 MIKE BALDWIN #6 RANDY MAMOLA ( won the Oct15 1989 INDY LIGHTS !!) But what I'm getting at here is I learned a lot about leaning and positioning when getting close to the corners and I also used to listen to the guys explain their driving skills and what they would need more practice on to get there riding confidence up to par and be able to feel more comfortable while on the track and learning about situations if it was an cloudy or windy and even sometimes raining !!!!! I remember one time one rider said he sometimes would train in the rain to work on his fear of sliding or slipping and would use these to his advantage to boost up his confidence and make him shake his fears!! But if your interested in using it for the practice experience look it up and watch the old vids it's actually quite interesting and you'll learn from the riders and watch how they do there things on the tracks and in the races they will teach you a thing or two and let some sneaky SECRETS be known as to what got them as close to the finish line. Look it up BRUH you'll be amazed and learn a lot that's what interested me into the sport and now that most of these guys have RETIRED they still have the same love for her at casual riding!!!! I know STEADY EDDIE has his bikes that he keeps as a sentimental reminder look into his life and see what he is doing now and youll be blown away what he's got at his house in the way of motorcycles.!! I'm not sure if your familiar with these racing legends but I've always had a love for the people and the sport!!! I still look for the newest racers and what machines they are promoting for there companies that are backing them !!! But I thought mabey you'd like a little bit of help with IDEAS for trying to get just a little bit e comfortable with all the new ways to practice at getting more better at things that you think that you could work on to build up your confidence in being a better track rider and Lear new tricks of the trade !?!?!? So I hope this will come to some usefulness for you !?!?!? You looked really really good out there there, one other question,bruh did you happen to accidently keep pushing the horn button on your bike,I could've sworn that I heard it a couple of times?? No biggie, but seriously you did look so amazingly awesome out there!!!!!!! I'm glad that your gonna be doing that instead of racing on the freeway lanes I feel a lot better knowing that you are going to be in a safer place for riding so thank you for that my BRUH!!! There's only one of you and I'd like to KEEP it that way! It's better to be safer than SORRY, you know what I mean,!? Let me know if you plan to use the videos to your advantage cause I would love to see you bringing out what I call the BRUHS (sneaky SECRETS)!??? Next time your at the track you'll be saying as your slingshotting past that really fast guy, NEVER FEAR GIXXER BRUHS HEAR!!! 🏍️VARROOMM 🏍️ 🏍️🏍️🏁🏍️🏁🏍️🏁🏍️🏁 ( LoL)🤭😊☺️ 🍁🇨🇦🍁💯💘🍀💐👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
