Exactly. I'm Melanesian but many people have told me I look Polynesian (not the hair, I have super curly hair) -the honey colored skin tone, almond eyes, forehead and jawline, button nose and facial structure, are all giveaways 😂 I get asked by other Islanders if I'm mixed, all the time!

It’s not surprising that Latinos, Polynesians and Native Americans can look similar to each others due to historical circumstances. Latinos (South Americans) are basically the products of colonialism, the ones with dominant European ancestry look nothing like these ethnicities mentioned above tho. For instance, people in Argentina look predominantly European to me, just look at Messi for example.
