i want to bring attention to something that happened during this stream, that never made it onto video. There was a whole argument between Doug and the entirety of twitch chat when Doug tried to chop something…on a plate, breaking it instantly. When chatters tried to tell him to use a cutting board instead, Doug ADAMANTLY INSISTED that you dont NEED a cutting board to cut meats and such. What followed was twitch chat screaming at him ‘YES YOU DO’…. why yes, this was an argument on par with the nonsense of Dougs irrational dislike of potatoes in general and trying to claim that people dont like potatoes, they like salt, butter, oil etc. And the potato has nothing to do with the flavor

Yelp Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars! I ordered steak with french fries and it came out really good! The steak was cooked nicely so that every bite was a different experience! And the fries were large and round, but really crispy! I heard some weird sounds though, and watched the waiter bring a customer to an ambulance 6 times, but it made for a unique and thrilling dining experience. 10/10, would recommend!

Yeah, i could talk about boeuf bourgignon, pot au feu, kouinn amann, etc. I could talk about the diversity of great regional cuisine in france. But those great meal are not a common denominator of "french food", and we don't eat a bourgignon every day. But every region has a great cheese, a great wine. And every city, even every small montain vilage has a bakerie with great bread. Thoses are every day food. Our country have sh*ty politics, we did a lot of sh*ty things in africa, and paris is a dumster of a capital (i don't know a french who think that was a good idea to organise the olympic games in it) but at least we have good food!

this was genuinely the hardest i have laughed in a while. ignoring all your other content for this long is the stupidest thing i’ve ever done coming back after a month, looking forward to being able to watch my first stream at some point! being able to learn all these ‘inside jokes’ and stuff has been awesome

I love the Ratatouille reference with the crazy cold open followed by "This is me". I know that Ratatouille isn't the only movie to do this, but I appreciate it nonetheless.
