I am absolutely one of those people who could stay home forever and be perfectly content. Other people drain me so much that I’m wiped out after an event or after a day at work dealing with people. On those MBTI personality tests you can do, I’ve always scored almost the highest possible on the introversion side, and I feel like it’s gone even more that way as I’ve gotten older. My dream job would be one where I can work from home and only have to leave on my own terms (walks or traveling for pleasure, etc). I know some people crave socialization but I can happily do without it most of the time.

Ever played Good Pizza, Great Pizza? It's a game a bit similar to this, except, obviously, you make and sell pizza. It's a pretty good game, you can upgrade, customize the interior of your shop, complete quests and stuff and there is even a goofy little plot. You can't walk around in it like this one, but I have a feeling you'd like the game anyway

Loved watching this 😂 I need a very particular balance of the two with socialising, I love having fun things to look forward to, to make new memories and do new things, but with lots of cosy days too. This year I've decided to celebrate as much as I can, so hosting little parties for all occasions (galentines, valentines, Chinese New year, St patricks etc) and really enjoying it, especially the day after being cosy on the sofa 🥰

I really enjoy these type of management games. It appeals to my perfectionist side. I'll always try to find a way to be more efficient and anticipate what people will want. And it's so less frustrating than in real life because I dont get to deal with real people that I keep waiting for to continue my work. 😂

I get anxious around too many people, but I get bored just staying at home. I like taking myself out and going to the bookstore or to get coffee, etc. Also, I couldn't help but giggle that the currency in this game is USD but it looked like a European plug on the wall. Also, while we technically have $0.50 coins, it threw me off that there was a whole section for them and not just handing out quarters.

I love these types of games! Sims in general, but shop sims are a weakness. Which is funny because I've worked retail and vowed to never do it again. xD And not gunna lie, I'd love a cup of coffee, thanks. People tend to take away from my battery, to be honest. And yes, I’m definitely a stay in person! I have been trying to hang out with my friends more though and I typically do at least once a week! Oh yeah I do not like being around people. I developed agoraphobia over the pandemic so I didn't leave my house for over a year. 🥺 I am trying to do walks outside now but I have never enjoyed being around people at all. I get utterly exhausted.

Also I think when the customers are glitching out in front of the shelf its because the product that they were going to purchase went out of stock AFTER they entered the store. I don't think it matters what they're standing in front of, they're trying to path to something that isn't there. You can see that when you restock everything around 01:01:20 it fixes and everyone checks out.

I think it's ironic. The duality of mankind. I'm always one to talk to anyone in service. It humanizes people and it's a quick conversation can really make someone's day when most of their time is just repeating the same lines. Conversely. It's always been difficult for me to maintain a presence online. Like, sometimes I'd type out a comment, delete it, then just live with regret or something idfk. Anyway, this contrast is amusing, considering the fact that you're not the kind of person who's apt to converse with a cashier. But in the game universe if you were a store owner who talked this much I would literally go to that store every day hah! Also, random edit I noticed 1:20:04. *coin added to jar* Love your videos! I loved this game . my favorite cheese is pepper jack. just a tip please close your shop when your restocking, editing, and changing prices in the morning and at night. alsodont forget any during work hours invintory that are still in boxes. you can also do a quick restock

Yup, I hear you as I can stay in for months without going outside at all & have done. These days I mostly just pop out once in a while to visit my Rents & sibs, take the bins out, attend medical appts. Very glad to see you playing this, your vids and chat make my day. Great playthrough! To answer your question, I can stay inside for months at a time. If I never had to leave the house for any reason, I probably wouldn't. I'm an introvert, so I'm not really a people person anyway. Can you play the Sunnyside demo? It's a cozy farm game with a great soundtrack that takes place in Japan. I think you'd like it!

1:16:20 - as a Texan, who has traveled around the US a bit, I can say with 80% certainty that regionally within the US, people make fun of other regions' accents or at the very least think those accents are funny, not so much attractive. Americans in general like non-American accents or their own regions' accents (because they sound "normal" to them). That's not to say they don't like other regional accents in the US or Canada, but usually they don't. My mom literally taught my dad out of his southern accent (she's a speech pathologist) because it was so southern and she's from the east coast. Personally, I'm not country Texan (I'm very much suburban), but I say y'all all the time (NEVER "howdy" though) and certainly have a more southwest/Texas accent, vs my cousins in Kentucky who have very Kentucky/southern accents, which we always joke about and compare. But I find some regional accents to be more endearing or some to be more annoying. It all depends on the person, really. Also yessss these kinds of play-throughs are really nice for background noise. I hate podcasts because I like to be able to have a screen with movement on it but still be listening and getting stuff done, and your gameplays are so calming and entertaining. Thanks for your awesome commentary (in this and all the videos you make)!

For US accents, we definitely differentiate between regions. It's a typical go-to ice breaker conversation for some. I believe I heard in England people differentiate between the different English accents.

Favorite Cheese: Gouda In the US, even in the South, we have different accents. Louisiana has about 3 in the state. 😂

As someone from the northeast coast of the US, i find irish and igbo accents to be most attractive. Southern IS completely different, as is midwest, and west. For example folks in LA talk fast like folks in NY, but new yorkers will have a lot of softer Rs and "aw" A sounds like bostoners, whereas LA folks pronounce their As and Rs more clearly but they uptalk (raise their inflection) at the end of sentences (sounding more like questions?) Southerners talk slower and softer consonants. Midwest folks sound like canadians (in wisconsin) or stressed new yorkers (ohio)

I made it far enough to tell you I like Brie (the cheese xD) Also when it comes to American regional accents I have "US mid-western/canadian". I am Canadian and there are large portions of us just have "mid-western" accents, which is different from the stereotypical east coast accent most people think of when you imagine Canadian accents. Some popular youtubers with this accent would be markiplier, and his friends Bob and Wade from the distractable podcast. As well as Phil from City Planner Plays, who not only has a midwest accent but enjoys the flagship brand of Candian coffee (Tim Hortons). So when it comes to regional accents I can only speak from the point of view of having a mid-western accent. I find accents from the eastern seaboard like New York, Boston and Jersey to be too harsh. New England is less harsh but more annoyingly posh. I prefer a nice drawl but rather then deep south like Texas, I much prefer a new Orleans or Georgian drawl. I also like the Atlantic canadian accents like folks from Newfoundland have. Which is, for lack of any better comparison, Canadian Irish.

Imho it's easier to find these American Regional accents appealing because there is so much space on the continent that even in my lifetime I might not have someone stand in front of me who has a Georgian, New Orleans or Atlantic Canadian accent and speak it to me directly.
