@@Caroline28483 not necessarily, new decent-quality synthetic wigs are usually heat resistant nowadays (good quality costume wigs can be styled with curlers and straighteners). About the Amazon vs Ali Express price difference and being worried that they were the same product but Amazon was marking it up significantly. There's a very very real chance the same product listings on Amazon and Ali Express are completely different products using the same photos. If they're scummy enough to use someone's photos without permission, I have no doubt they are scummy enough to send different products out under the same listing. It's actually happened quite a bit with sites like Ali Express and Wish where a company will have one product and multiple completely different listings for it to lure in more customers. For example, they may only have a 10×6 notebook but have three listings one for a 9×6 one for a 10×6 and another for an 10×5 and ship their 10×6 regardless of what is actually ordered. Many customers wint care about the slight size difference and just be happy about the low price. Take that to an extreme with products like bangs. Maybe you did recieve a high quality product, but that may be luck of the draw and somewhere out there someone's getting a brown cheerleading pom pom cut up to sorta look like bangs. That's why your viewers shouldn't buy this product even though your review for it wasn't so harsh. Because there's a good chance the product you bought and the product they will be buying are completely different.

One thing sellers do is they usually buy the product in bulk from Aliexpress or Alibaba (china) for very cheap and rebrand it and sell it for a much higher price on amazon. So most of the time products on amazon come from china. But sometimes sellers do use a manufacturer in the US or somewhere else. Also it's very, very common for them to use pictures either from the manufacturer or online. So i'm not sure if they will do anything about this, especially if the picture is on the manufacturers website. You could probably try messaging the seller directly to remove it. I'm sure they would as they dont want to risk their product getting negative reviews or anything

I have androgenic alopecia with a lot of hairloss in front of my hair. I am actually tempted to get some bangs for even I don't want to wear my topper.

If this is being sold on Amazon, could you not request Amazon to stop allowing this being sold through them?

After I saw your bang video I got bangs myself and then hated them on me 😂😂😂😂😂 You’re beautiful!
@ue22675 жыл бұрын
You should contact Amazon. It is not ok that your picture is being used without your consent. They are not allowed to do that. We will back you up if there is an issue. Companies dont like it when followers in the thousands say something as well and bring negative image to them. But now that you have made this public, it will get attention and they might do something.

Even if you were able to get the listings taken down on both Amazon and Ali Express new stores can easily pop up using the same image again. The only real way individuals can make a difference, which you pointed out in the video, is to stop using them all together. I stopped using Amazon after the controversy regarding their working conditions and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

When/if you *do* find a product like this that you *can* support, you should let us know! I always want to play around with bangs, but not for keeps. This video is making me consider how hard it could possibly be to craft one with our own hair?

Many individual sellers sell products from Amazon. There are thousands of listings and Amazon can't really keep up with every picture posted on their listings. I understand your frustration though. I work at Amazon in the US and we ship to all over the world from just one building. I think you should try writing to the seller directly if Amazon customer service does not respond.

Is it not possible for you to contact Amazon about the issue to have Amazon ban the seller or to have them contact the seller to remove the images?
@junime274 жыл бұрын
I would contact Amazon to complain about the seller so they either are forced to stop using the photo or they remove their store on Amazon

In case you're interested I haven't been able to find these on the French Amazon. But there were others with other pictures of very famous actresses which is riddiculous...

In UAE it’s illegal to use/post someone’s picture without their permission , you can sue someone for their action and immediately will pay you without any lawsuit

You should link the product so your followers can try to report or comment or whatever you do on Amazon

This should turn into one big class action law suit, since there are so many influencers affected. You'd need to approach them along with a lawyer who's ready to make some big bucks
@bluybrink45265 жыл бұрын
Big bucks how exactly? The company is probably a one-man show reselling the products of somebody else. They will disappear and restart with a new 'company' one day after any lawsuit starts. Guess who will pay the lawyer...

Don't waste your time trying to contact them, go straight to Amazon, it's up to them to regulate the sellers on their platform.

*PLEASE Share the link with us and we all should leave a comment on Amazon! If EVERYONE speaks up it will help to prevent this scam! Another KZbinr who sews bought a cheap knock off of a Victorian costume she hand tailored from a Chinese company that used her image without her permission. Doesn't KZbin have laws protecting this?

Als de verkoper niet reageert, kun je dan niet Amazon benaderen? Ze staan vast ook op wish en ali maar dan heb je in ieder geval 1 plek waar ze niet meer op staan.

Also there are women in poorer cities, towns and etc in countries in the east that actually get there hair stolen by being grabbed and their hair cut on the streets. My husband has told me this had happened in Vietnam where women from small tribes were cautious about wearing ponytails because people would grab them and chop it off to sell their hair for cheap to sketchy wig companies. A wig company in NYC also brings light to this problem. That’s what I think of when I see these cheap human hair brands. It makes me very sad that people actually purchase these.
@quixotic42333 жыл бұрын
Part of what is so sad about this is wherever it is manufactured I'm sure there are some lovely models and hairstylists who could have been paid a living wage to model this for 5 seconds to sell the item. Everything about this supply chain is just exploitation, so unnecessary.

I do think that you spoke well about the reasons that this is not a good idea .
@kenziehurlock3 жыл бұрын
On top if it being wrong to use your photo, it's also wrong to be using a photo of actual hair and not what their product actually looks like on. I've seen way too many wig ads like this. They show a photo of a woman's real hair and claim that it's the wig they are selling when it clearly is not.
