I know this is confusing but bear with me.. D.O shaved his head even before his military service because of a rule in his film "swing kids" and he feels comfortable is shaving it since then so for kyungsoo shaving his head isn't something military-connected it's just he feels comfy in it and he sometimes just shaves it like that~

It's a common thing with EXO that they do different versions of their songs with each performance... For Call Me Baby, they have the original one, this one is jazz type and another is acoustic one... For MAMA they have the original one, and other one is rock influenced which you've heard in the live performance of EXO'rdium tour. For others I won't spoil anymore. You may like to check it by yourself.

I know they‘re bsides, but unfortunately I tend to not enjoy „blind“ live performances much (unless it’s ballads with not much „going on“ apart from the singing) 🥺 if I don’t know the melody to the song yet, I often unconsciously concentrate so much on trying to figure out the song itself, that I can’t appreciate the actual performance or live vocals at all :/ that kinda for example shows in my first reaction to the eve, which was to the dance practice.. I barely noticed the choreography because I hadn’t heard the song before and my brain was totally busy with thinking about the music 😅

@@Landyra thats the cool thing about exo concerts, they always had a party time like "let out the best.....(the original comment recommendation)" or in the elixion "diamond+ coming over...etc", this parts don't have a lot of choreos, its more like exo and exol enjoying the concert like a real party (just like in what a life mv)on their own, they use other things to play with the public like the members playing instruments, or the fireworks, etc, is amazing. For those songs i recommend u to see the lives, because this songs are repetitive and are more hipper songs than other thing made for the party time on the concerts more than reading the lyrics or similar.

Their concerts and live performances just hit different. The studio versions may be the "perfect" standard, but they are moments in time. A lot of their earlier songs I like much better live because they were performed later when things were all in one group and parts were distributed differently. Plus, they just add so many things to their live versions. I also think more groups should have downloadable/streamable versions of their live albums! It really gives fans a new appreciation for their music. But as others have mentioned, EXO also change up their live versions of the songs as well, to make it different and more fun. So glad that you are enjoying their live stuff. Most EXO-L's always push the live stages right off the bat because we all know this is where EXO REALLY shines. This set list where they are in the suits and at the bar is one of their best stage performances in my opinion. It is just such a fun concept and during the Seoul version of this concert, they all sounded the best they have ever sounded! D.O. was KILLING it that day! Must have been his shaved head. 😊

I have a similar listening pattern. I mean, obviously I love X song, there's a reason why I bothered putting it in my playlist. But whenever it comes on in shuffle, I skip it. If there's one thing in common between you and EXO, it's having absolutely no clue what's going to happen next!! Because DAMN, I wasn't expecting this reaction but HELL yeah, do I love it!!😂😂😂 Actually, I just saw this particular performance for the first time with you. Tbh, I listen to another version of Call Me Baby; (YES, there's more lol! Talk about versatility) the acoustic version. That one just fits my taste. Honestly, the massive repetition of the title threw me off a lot in the beginning, but like every other song by them, it grew on me. Other than that, I like how Lady Luck comes on right after Call Me Baby. Again, that song is a great example for "I like the live acoustic version better than the studio track" for me. I really like their sit down acoustic performances. Besides, that one video where Park Chanyeol played the guitar with a pick in his mouth... Speechlessness at it's finest. My fellow EXO-L's can relate lol!! It still makes all of us go 👁️👁️ And yes, we get a lot of remixes from them. You've heard Power- every single tour since then, we had a different remix and each one was better than the first. I usually don't like remixed versions, but what do you know? EXO changing my mind everytime.😭😭😭

it's hard to see reactors that notice the songs are rearranged. at each concert mainly the title songs are a little different from the studio version. Call me baby for example has more instruments instead of synthesizers in this version, In exordium it is acoustic. Or cbx tour wich have a live band. As the concert is divided into sets, the producers always try to make the songs blend together. And yeah, exo is better in live, it's just the feeling

I know the pain.. when I tried to get a ticket for the last BTS concert in Seoul both me and my friend got into the Fanclub presale AND general sale and never even saw a ticket pop up 🙃 ticketing for Korean concerts is CRAZY! I ended up getting a ticket through a reseller, but damn… it was the most brutal ticketing I’ve ever seen; european concerts got nothing on that! Btw if you like the concert version of EXO songs (remix, band, jazz etc cause EXO always perform different arrangements ver of their songs at their concert) they also have some albums for it! I mean for every concert (They always release Concert DVD + album for their perform in Japan and Seoul after the tour and that's also why you can find this HD clip of the concert). You can check the albums on spotify, apple music etc. Just type for example "EXO Elyxion (name of their concert)" then the album will come with several songs they perform at Elyxion in Seoul concert (encore songs not included). You can also find the mp3 of this performance! But sadly it's a live record audio so the crowds screams are included there :( I hope you understand because my english is not good👉👈

The bar section from the ELYXION concerts is a masterpiece! There are a few more songs in this setting but mostly b-sides which you may not have heard. And to share my take on concerts: i am 41 and i dont want to spend a ton of money for a ticket, drive a long way to a big city, be inside a huge hall with thousands of other people, listen to hysteric fangirls screaming for hours and only watch the guys on the big screens because my seat is way to far away.... I just wait for the DVD, because i can watch it whenever i want, i can rewind, i can skip and i can watch the guys close-up. And my ears and nerves are not damaged :D And its much cheaper^^ When i was in my 20ies, i went to concerts a lot. But now, no thank you^^ I definitly prefer being at home and watching concerts from my sofa.

Totally understand! I’d never went to a concert before 2019 and then went to a bunch that year, and it’s been a blast for the most part! What’s important for me though is assigned seating and being able to film, because I don’t remember anything once the concert is over 😂 also earplugs! No song without earplugs! I love the atmosphere at concerts (getting to talk to other fans, events around the concert,…), that doesn’t really translate well into DVDs, but I gotta say it’s not always worth it, with expenses and travelling. I loved loved loved the BTS concerts in Europe (lots of events for BTS all around the city, lots of fans to talk to, great seats), but had less amazing experiences with Stray Kids (no assigned seating, got a sunstroke while waiting in line), Monsta X (felt kinda left out because I didn’t know them / their discography / the fandom insiders enough and felt pretty lost, also didn’t see well) and BTS in Seoul (didn’t know Korean well enough and felt left out being unable to talk to anyone around me, also literally LAST row in the entire stadium, barely saw ANYTHING 🙃), so it can kinda be hit or miss! Some concerts are absolutely amazing experiences, but others sometimes kinda get weighted up by the hassle around it. Being able to just watch a concert DVD at home is definitely the more chill and “HD” experience! My favourite is going to the concerts, vlogging the experience and then rewatching the vlogs to death, and if possible later watch the official concert movie with my mom 😅

Actually ngl but when I heard Call me Baby I actually enjoyed especially that iconic bridge part of the song but it dosen't really had the same impact on me as other Exo title tracks like Monster, Obsession or Love shot. I actually liked the bsides more than Call Me baby. It wasn't a skip for me though but I don't use to play this song as much as other Exo title tracks but one day when I watched this live version of Call me baby in Elyxion tour I really liked the Instrumentals of the song. I think it is a remix version of it and it kinda had Rock vibe to it which really stood out to me the most. After the live version the song grew on me a lot now well it was the same was Wolf too. You can add this version to your playlist. I listen to this version more than the actual one. Also D.O. was bald because of his film Swing Kids.

I have to many things to do but i ended here having a lot to say this time. HAHAHA. So, first of all, girl, I know you a year maybe and I'm still not used to to your being a fan (idk how to say it in english). Sometimes I'm wondering how it would be being your kpop friend in real life... Second one, yes, this version is diffrent, has more guita and drums (?). Third one Kyungso was shaved because of his movie role where he was a soldier. He was preapring for the movie and for concerts, exols still didn't know about it and he wore a lot of caps these days. One day on the concert Baekhyun just took it and Kyungsoo (D.O.) was so shy and worried but exols ended loving this look. For your gusetion, I'm huuuuge Chen's fan and he is my fav one, but when it comes to live performers, he just sound like CD, he is to perfect i quess. So on concerts i like the most D.O. Suho and Chanyeol, because they are just having fun on stage and everytime they sound completely diffrent (especially D.O.).

Watching this makes me want you to watch their medley acoustic performance, but most of the song they put on the medley is bsides so you probably haven't heard of the songs..
