Thanks for your transparency. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate through this new unexpected journey. I’m new to this channel. I started losing my hair at 16, and I loved my hair. By my senior year it was almost gone. I’ve never known what it’s like to have hair as an adult so I’ve learned to adapt and like myself as I am. It still doesn’t stop me from wondering, what would it be like to have hair? What would I look like? Your channel has been really interesting for me take in an absorb. Thanks for putting it out there and being real.

I'm very familiar with Ayahuasca. I've taken the journey several times. Changed my life. And sounds like the connection may have triggered what's referred to as the "Dark Night of the Soul". Look into it. I've been through the dark night. It's not pleasant. The universe will remove every single thing you were once attached to. It will strip you down and have you feeling like you want to end your life. I almost did. Youll feel like its over. It's teaching you to let go of attachment to people and things.. connect to your true self, and when these doors close, new ones will open. It's a rough journey my friend. For what it's worth. I've watched many of your videos, and I have an appointment in a few days to get fitted for a hair system. After 20 years of shaving my head and wearing hats, I decided to try something new. And without your channel, I'm not sure I would be taking this step. So thank you for that. ✌️

This video spoke so deeply to me. I'm going through a breakup with someone that I thought I was going to spend my life with. Now that it's over I'm trying to figure out how to rebuild myself. I want to become the man I always pictured in my head. I want to learn to have confidence and to have self-love. I want to believe that I deserve to be loved. Life has always been full of doubt put in my head by me, I'm ready to change that.

To be honest man the girlfriend thing was obvious from when you disappeared. We've all been there, you're still feeling it, maybe for another year, but you'll grow to be better out of it. My ex did the same, she unexpectedly left me immediately for another man and blocked me on every form of media and contact. It almost killed me but I got better. If you're feeling this good after 2.5 months then thats really good progress actually. When you're ready, you'll absolutely kill it at dating, and we'll get a whole new series of videos about how hair systems benefit dating, so i'm looking forward to that.

@@zacw812 Well in my own experience my success is much better with a system. And they don't ever notice it, but sometimes I tell them. Sometimes i even tell them on the first date, they really dont care anymore than you care that a girl has fake eyelashes. If its hot its fine.

Hi Jake, I started watching your channel when I started looking in to hair systems.. and you helped me a great deal. Your channel helped me face my own hair loss, and ways in which I could embrace the new me. You are a very well put together guy and although I don't know you & I've never even left a comment on here previously felt that I needed to reach out. Take one day at a time, week by week and month by month. It is very hard once a relationship ends, believe me I know. One thing that I must encourage you to continue with is talking about feelings, and the fluffy stuff, as I really feel that we need more guys like that in the world. Nothing wrong at all with having feelings and talking about them, it's no longer like it was back in the day. Sending positive vibes

Hope things can start to get better my dude. I myself just lost my job of 7 years a few weeks ago, and have been feeling pretty bleh since. Decided to take all the advice I've gleaned from your videos and today went and got a consultation with a nearby clinic to get measured up for a hairpiece. Sick of looking in the mirror and not seeing myself as myself! Have yet to commit (hair needs to grow longer first to color match), but I have to thank you for giving me the courage to seek this out 🧡🧡✌✌

I really can understand you. when my ex left was the worst feeling I ever experienced and kept going on for about 6 month before I started feeling better and taking care again of my self. after a year I was like reborn. I can understand that someone was that important to you and how much you loved them but no one is special even if you convinced of that (I was the one who kept saying it over and over, that I will never find someone else), but trust me, after passing the depressive phase you'll be seen her as a normal person who helped you ofc and who've spent a lot of time with you. I know that you'd say that I don't understand you and that your situation is different but it's not. do videos if you think could help you, do sport if you think can makes you better but please don't forget your self just because you're thinking to an other girl. you're a handsome guys, with a beautiful personality, with a great body, with a beautiful face and blue eyes, if you want you could have every girl in the planet. people would pay million's just to be you. so let it hurt you and cry about it, and let it pass away. soon you'll be with other girls, enjoying life and focusing on your goals. don't lose your self mate, keep in mind who you are, don't let the sadness controls your life and decide what you can or cannot do. let feelings hurt you and as soon as you're good, go smash other girls, life is short and our pipi will not work forever

Asè brother. Focus on Loving You above all else. I remember coming off of an 8 year relationship and even months afterward I was a wreck. I still am hurt and perhaps it has changed how i view about the world. It’s tough man. I completely empathize with you. Aka I’m sure you’ve read Way of The Superior Man. Whatever you said resonated.

So I found you while researching the possibility of using a hair system. I enjoyed your tips and positive thoughts and it's contributed to my decision to move forward. I found a salon who has ordered a custom system to start at a reasonable cost and I'm currently waiting for it to come in so she can cut it in and fit me with it. I ultimately want to do more of a DIY thing as much as I can but wanted to get started on the right foot. That said the last couple of videos have really touched me. Being totally up front I'm a gay male and you being attractive didn't hurt your cause when I was watching/listening/reading your hair system tips! 😂 But I want you to know this is 100% genuinely me saying I like the person you're presenting right now. I have many straight male friends that I have a close relationship with so please know I'm not some letch here. LOL. I feel what you've been through and I am sorry that life takes us down these paths sometimes but I believe with all that I am they are just opportunities to learn and grow. From what I can tell, maybe it's pushing you passed a place you were comfortable and into the space you want to be in. I love your cause and your purpose and if you can be this open and vulnerable I truly believe you can help other men work through their emotions and work on themselves to be better. It's not easy for a man to do, even a gay man. Keep pursuing this path you're on. I think it's the right one for you. Oh, and please don't forget about us guys diving in the hair systems! 😂 But I get it, if this is your calling then go for it. I hit subscribe and I'm going to do something I don't do, I'm hitting notifications too. I want to continue to follow you. Thank you. Hugs to you my friend, I wish you a much happier tomorrow.

Dude I feel you. Exactly one month ago I lost my job where I worked for 6,5 years. It was so unexpected, we only found out we are going out of business 3 days before shutting whole thing down. I felt so lost and completely devastated only to realize now it's all for better. 6,5 years it's a lot, and to be quite frankly I wasn't happy there. It's the push that I needed. Maybe it's the same with you, maybe all those changes in your life is just a different pattern you were meant to take. Life goes on, and that's what makes our life interesting. After watching your videos you were the one pushed me to get a hair system and Im like 100% happier with it, so I wish you all the best. We, your subscribers are humans too and we understand what you're going through and we are here for you just like you are for us. It's all gonna be great!

You don’t sound crazy, you sound like Aubrey Marcus (not a bad thing). That’s really rough bro, a ton for any person to handle and I’m sorry you’re having to deal with it. The timing of it all can’t be coincidental so you have to believe it’s all happening for a reason and gain everything you can from it (easier said than done I know) I know you’re hurting and I’ve been there so I do not want to be disrespectful but I am curious if you know or think that your breakup has anything to do with hair systems?

Hello Jake, thank you for the videos. They are great and you are extremely dedicated and committed to sharing as much information and personal experience s you can regarding HS, which I appreciate. I have a question. In your videos your hair appears to have a lot of red in it, as does your beard. I am a ginger, albeit darker in the winter and more chestnut and more like yours in the summer. Is it difficult to obtain Hs for redheads? Also, I’m curly. Is your HS curled or stock? Thanks again for all your time.

I’m glad you made it out on the other side, Jake. Those kinds of losses will never be easy, ever. But it speaks volumes of your character for you to recognize that you need to step away and focus & work on yourself while also keeping it real with your fan base. These losses do not make you any less of a man and this will only transform you into a stronger version of yourself. I fell out of a serious relationship at the beginning of this year in January and it was brutal. I started questioning my worth, I became bitter, I stopped seeing friends, and I cried a few times in the beginning. Just like you, it was hard to breathe and the air around just felt like a cage. But I had to let myself feel those emotions in order for me to grow. In May, I started feeling more like myself again and started hitting the gym and started doubling down on my passions and hobbies. Fast forward to September, I’m now dating someone who’s 100x better for me, I broke into a field I always wanted to work in, and I’m now in terrific shape. Never give up, Jake. The best medicine is time and personal milestones. Your true fans will always be here for you if you ever need to take a break

Nothing to add, you said it all. Continue the path of healing, loving, working. You will regain, replace, renew and grow. A lot of good is ahead of you. We can do nothing without the help of God and others. When I lost everything and started to come back, I began to realize that all I had and was came from God, what I lost was of my own making. God owns everything so now I submit and depend on Him. He is my singular most important relationship. I am married for 32 years now and had my career. All has worked out and I am retired now and on to the next thing. Could not have made it without God. Thank you Jesus. He builds men.

You struggle with that idea because of the sickness and decadence of post modernism that has blurred the de facto biological and psychological distinctions between men and women. I don't aspire to act like some chick, but like a Man, and if you're confused about what that means, read Homer, or watch the film 300.

My understanding of what it means to be a man is simply deciding what you want and stopping at nothing to get it. For me that means a relationship with God, being fit, success in my business, getting myself a girl, and finding a long term solution to my hair loss (hence why I am here). So what I hear when I think being a better man is gaining courage to continue striving toward your goals in the face of adversity, or setting worthwhile goals in the first place.

@@gregoryaisemberg2037 Thanks, but I think you missed my point. I don't struggle with being who I am and that happens to be a man. I struggle with there being a definitive concept of what a man is. As far as I can see, we're all people and individuals and being the best person I can be makes sense. But I think its divisive to attempt to be a 'better man' if that involves unnaturally conforming to someone else's version of what that is.
@Stall69UK

@@stevenbuttice3442 Thats great, but all of that could equally apply to a woman. You've listed the things that are important to you, but none of it is tethered to a specific gender. If a woman had more or less those same goals, it wouldn't make her manly. Likewise, a male that was confident and content within himself and didn't feel the need to be ruthlessly ambitious, isn't less of a man.

thats in fact the thing - being a man isnt about conforming to anyones standards. its setting your own, and living YOUR Purpose. but the whole "what does it mean to be a man thing is both a cultural, historical, evolutionary, spiritual, and energetic question. we must also look at both masculine and feminine energies. men and women both can embody both of these energies, and need to balance them. all in all, its a long conversation.

We miss you out here bro, hope you’re doing ok. We really do need you in the “manosphere” for lack of better term; you fill an important void and I do think you have the potential to be WAY more than just hair systems. There’s a bit of a war going on against masculinity (for anyone that hasn’t noticed) and I think you’re a positive voice for positive non toxic masculinity and we as a people need as much of that as we can get right now. You still may not be able to see that your ex is not the one but she’s not, you deserve better and will get better no doubt. Hope to see you soon bro

Brother Jake, I know you can't comprehend this, but I've been where you were in the Underworld because of a woman. Please hear me out: this happened when I was 39, and the breakup was devastating... But I realized after two months, that for every one woman, there are countless others, women who are more physically exciting... You'll see.... Good thing too, you're a bit young, because from my experience, couples married in their twenties are bored in their marriages by their 40s.... Godspeed.

You’ll get through this. This is just the beginning. There is much you are learning and much you have yet to learn. And that’s okay. It’s a process. Women do not love the way men do. Men love sacrificially and project onto women their love, expecting women to love sacrificially too. But they don’t. They love pragmatically. The Greeks called this female love “pragma” love, whereas the sacrificial love men have is “agape” love. Most men do not find this out until they go through a few serious relationships. It’s a process we have to go through. It’s a learning and growing experience. Once we understand this about women, it becomes easier to understand, eventually.

that's a pretty horrible approach to relationships, why even commit if you're not fully invested in it? I mean if that works for you and your partner that's fine I guess but this doesn't look like a healthy and fulfilling relationship model to me personally.

Hi Jake 👋 I was in a relationship with my girlfriend for 9 years and about 20 days ago she left me. It was the hardest thing I think I have ever been through. She said God told her to talk to this guy and then she started seeing him. It literally felt like my heart was gouged out of my chest. I cried day and night. I couldn't sleep. My eyes felt swollen. I lost over 15lbs. I felt like a was on a roller coaster of emotions. I put my whole life into her and was trying to become a better version of myself for her, but she didn't want to have me anymore. I cherished the friendship more than my words can describe. I am a Christian too so loyalty and all that means so much to me. I have never broken up with anyone. I always try to love the best I can. My ex helped me decide to get a hair system and it was your videos that also motivated me. I am also a KZbinr that focuses on helping others become healthy. I have 5k subscribers so not as much as you. I took a long break from KZbin after I met her 9 years ago because I was so happy with her and spent most of my time with her. She helped me find the right color, size, and all of that. She also helped me install it which was very awesome. When she broke up with me I became terrified because the hair is now part of my identity. She told me she would still help me with it because she knew it was part of my identity and that it would be very hard for me. I am at least grateful she was thoughtful about that. It was a big change in my life to get the hair system. Most of my KZbin career has been about stopping hair loss through diet and supplements. The good news is that I have a family member who helps me with it now so I can continue to wear it. It has greatly increased my confidence and my attractiveness. It is also nice not wearing a hat 24/7 anymore when I go out. Today I am doing a lot better. Like you, I really started to focus inward and on myself. I started going to church again. I joined a gym with my friend. I started to eat really healthy. I'm being a lot more vulnerable and just putting myself out there. I was at the gym the other day and a really cute girl came up to me and said she liked my hair. That was so awesome Jake and made me feel attractive and loved. I am a bit on the shy side and so I didn't approach her and introduce myself, but if I see her next time I want to. This has encouraged me so much and I really believe I will be with someone again who will love me and want to have a family. We're both in this together Jake and I have a pretty good idea how you feel. As Johnny says in Cobra Kai, We got to be bad ass lol! Never give up! Never surrender! 😁
