It seems like it doesn't matter what you are fixing, it's going to be interesting. You have got quite a bit of charisma. I'm, perhaps, not the greatest fan of phone fixing because they are so tiny and compact, and I feel like there isn't really that many things you can fix in them easily enough (profitably enough), and thus we won't be seeing so much of hunting for the faults with successful results. However, if you do film fixing them, I'll be here to watch.

@@Mobin92 It's just beyond ridiculous that a mechanical switch like the power button has been buried so deep inside the phone that you can not replace it without also replacing the screen, making it not profitable to do so. Sometimes i think they do these kinds of things on purpose to force you to buy a new phone, instead of changing that $1 mechanical switch. Right now it seems as the EU is talking about forcing manufacturers to make batteries replaceable again. I hope this will force the manufacturers to think outside of the box and make the phone batteries replaceable without ruining to much of the look and feel of the phones.

From someone who works in an unnamed tech repair company (so that I don't get in trouble with my NDA lol) here some tips. If you are going to take off an lcd don use any metal tools if you don't want it to break immediately, the same goes for the backglasses. we use the ifixit guitar picks. and we heat them up to about 75 degrees c. On the note 10 series be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when taking off the backglass, there are ribbon cables that go up the right side of the back glass that if you nick or cut the wifi and cellular barely connect. (I know this from experience) Also, be careful when taking off the back covers as one contains the wireless charging coil and if you take it out wrong it will break and the temperature sensor for the battery is in there. it will make it so that the phone shows the error message battery temp to low and will not charge unless the phone is off. it is fixable with a new coil though if you can find the parts. If you replace screens on any samsung try and get the ones that come with the frame. It takes out a lot of the work and your much less likely to break anything as you just have to transfer the motherboard and a few other components. If you ever take out a battery only run it along the sides of the metal frame around the battery. the majority of samsungs have a cutout in the middle that goes directly to the lcd backing and you can and will break the lcd if you just shove your sesamo underneath the battery. look up know issues for certain series of samsungs before you buy lots. im not gonna say what they are (that sweet NDA is scary) but there are some issues that are not fixable so be wary.

Did he have to though? I know it looked like the power button was sandwiched between the screen and mainframe, but doesn't Samsung make their buttons removable from the sides now? I don't know if the connector wouldn't allow him to pull out it through the side. But I would've taken that approach instead of fussing with the screen. Fussing with OLEDs mean certain death and it's usually not worth touching for a repair.

I was about to comment about the *#0*# thing as well, but another comment already mentions it. I learned about it when a technician used it to replace the screen on one of my phones to see if anything else was wrong. I've found it to be a useful tool a couple times by now.

Hey man! I know we have talked before. I'm actually a certified Samsung repair technician and work in partnership with them. If you ever need help with any in the future feel free to shoot me a comment or message I'd be glad to help you out. I fix about 10 of these a day lol

I hope these have good IMEI for resale, otherwise you're gonna be stuck or forced to do some shady stuff lol

Yes, that's already been checked. That's something you always have to watch out for.

Is the IMEI really needed to sell it on ebay or some random site?

Bro, you look tired and kind of stressed. You should take a small break, either way you deserved it since ya just hit 500k.🙌
