I am in Brisbane Australia and have recently started in the abandoned storage units game. Still learning but it is so much fun. 1 item can change everything. I got a unit last week, paid $350 had a zebra Baroda scanner, retails new $2,600. Also got a unit today paid $150 had a wertheim vacuum cleaner retails $1,600. Obviously 2nd hand prices to sell, but will make bank, I believe that is an American term

Quickie wheelchairs are a really good brand. The air cushion is a Roho and they are excellent for preventing pressure sores. The white bench is a shower seat. Resale of handicap equipment can be great. Insurance companies will usually buy new equipment if a person needs it, but will not purchase used. My husband received new equipment whenever he needed it. He had accident settlement money and was a VA patient. Quickie is not the most expensive but, it is a good brand and good quality. Most any kind of insurance, including Medicare, will pay total cost of equipment with a Dr.s Rx.

FYI: to test gold, you can do a "streak test" using the unglazed back side of a tile. It will scratch the item, but real gold will leave only a gold streak on the tile, while gold fill or plate will show gold plus silver or grey when the base metal comes through. Also, remember, real gold is heavy as lead.

My husband's chair was $4k our part was 900.00 after insurance. His crutches are similar $115 +/- . Being handicapped is expensive even with insurance. Roho cushions are up to $1000 depending on the size. Usually you have to have a prescription from a seating clinic & Dr for brand new custom to your size & needs. Only problem can be once you get a new chair insurance only covers maintenance on the newest one.

Personal customized wheelchairs can go for much higher prices than that. That’s probably a more basic customized chair honestly. Insurance will usually cover those. It’s expensive to be disabled. My personal chair cost around $5000. It’s kind of amusing to hear you say that is someone can afford a $1000 wheelchair maybe they have other expensive things. 😂 generally a disabled individual doesn’t have a ton of expensive things because they have to cover the $$ difference that insurance doesn’t.

2 things come to mind with the hair. 1. They used to bunch hair up and use it kind of like a bump it or fluff puff to style hair around it. 2. I had a patient with dementia and she kept hiding her hair that fell out because she was afraid she would get in trouble, she also kept all her stuff ever if it was empty and would get so upset if we threw away anything that was empty. I think she would get upset because she was taken out of her home by family and they sold a ton of her stuff without telling her. She was in and out of memory loss at that time so at times she would remember and cry.

Becky Becker, Yes, I was going to say that, the woman could have saved her hair due to having alopecia or she had chemo, then thought her hair wouldn't grow back the same texture as it was before. Always look for old stamps. Sell as a lot. I inherited my mom’s stamp collection. It was her fathers collection. I’m just saying that there is a lot value in the old stamps. My mom and her siblings were born in San Francisco, my grandfather was an engraver for the U.S. Mint. I was not that interested in the stamps until I started researching. Look at the old ones under a magnifying glass . The detail is extraordinary. You may be pleasantly surprised. All you have to do is separate the envelope. Always save the post mark. Hope this is useful information for you. It’s not always gold.
