You have stated that you love Guatemala. Especially Amatitlán. Everyone you have encountered or conversed with, have been very friendly, and you’ve had no incidents of trouble or crime. I am happy to hear this, because word of mouth travels fast, and if indeed it is a safe place to visit, tourism will grow, and the residents will prosper. I absolutely do not approve of the regulations set forth by your hotel. That would never fly with me at all. I’m on vacation and I must be inside the hotel by a certain time? No! What bothers me more is being locked inside. What if there is a fire, or a possible earthquake? What if you should have a medical problem in the middle of the night? If this particular hotel locks its doors as they do, then I can only assume that there is indeed serious crime taking place at night. If your vehicle situation isn’t bad enough, you surely did not need these hotel regulations added to your frustration. There’s no need for me to ask, because my guess is that this is the worst trip you’ve ever been on in your vlogging career. I’m sending best wishes and prayers that this nightmare for you comes to an end SOON! 😁🙏🤞

Yes! my thoughts exactly. There is no one there at all hours of the night. Only on call as you saw here where someone will be there to let you out once you coordinate an exit. if there is a natural disaster or fire, no one will be there to open the main door. though I sleet in my car the very first night, I was constantly bothered by drunk vagrants coming up to my car will at the Central Park asking for money or alcohol. but they weren't violent. there was no violence at night. just vagabonds. all was well. worst trip because of what started in Mexico which resulted in my downfall in Guatemala. it's ok. God was with me and kept me safe. it's not my time yet to fail. Thanks for watching Randy!
