That item you found in the bottom of the box with the old birth/baptism/death certificates is a scapular. Devotional scapulars are objects of piety, primarily worn by Roman Catholics, designed to show the wearer's pledge to a confraternity, a saint, or a way of life, as well as reminding the wearer of that promise.I wore one as a child.

Vintage soft body dolls from the '60 are worth a lot of money. Madame Alexander with sleep eye, I have been looking for are on e-bay for $200 - $300. Tiny Thumbelina with clothes over $300. Eloise Wilkins doll $350. Some dolls are worth a lot of money.

The steel thingy (13:45) from the pink divider box looks like a metal coin holder for pennies and dimes. I think those were popular in the 20s and 30s. Try sliding coins in from the sides and in the middle to see if it is that.

Hi, Jack. The 2 pictures with the cord going between them is called a scapular. It's worn by old timey Catholics around the neck with one picture (probably of a saint or Jesus) in the front and the other on the back -- between the shoulder blades (scapulae). They aren't much used except for by older Catholics. Have the ephemera and photographs gone up for sale? I am SUPER interested in those 3 boxes!!!!!
