I’m sorry to hear that. I had bad asthma as a child too, and couldn’t join the military as a result. I grew out of it by 16 and have not had any symptoms for decades which is very lucky. You don’t know unless you try getting a class 1. Thank you for watching and good luck.

I'm also one of the parallel students, doing a PPL(H) in Germany and checking out your videos to get a feeling of what's coming at me 😄 As a private pilot, I obviously finished earlier, after 5 months in the Cabri and am meanwhile also type rated in the R44, a much more practical helicopter that's nicer to fly but ugly as hell (who cares?). @@RoryOnAir Thanks. I still work through a long list of scenic flight requests but started like you a couple of years ago with my wife as first passenger in the Cabri a couple months ago. She also acted as the extra weight required for the MTOW flight of the R44 type rating and got treated to a LIMA NOVEMBER midfield transition over EDDF, something sadly only possible rarely during normal times and more often now because of the drastically reduced commercial traffic in Frankfurt. So I'll be busy flying and wish for you to be as well. Stay healthy, biologically, mentally and commercially!
