This is what can happen when you haven't flown for a long time... Skill fade! I've been away from the Cabri helicopter for 27 days. I've re-read the pilot's operating handbook and been extra thorough with my checks but I feel rusty even though I'm still just within my currency period. How much I've forgotten and what skills have faded after almost a month away remains to be seen...
I'm fortunate to have been flying regularly during the covid lockdown as I build hours towards a flight instructor rating but over the last month I've been learning to fly the R44 rather than the Cabri G2.
