Well I guess I have no excuse not to get the Sigma 150-600 out tonight, then? Nice video, Steve. Sometimes just a tripod and a camera is the most enjoyable astro. 👍

New to shooting the moon but still excited by in. Curious to know if you ever use the Loony rule when shooting with your Nikon. Been shooting with my Sony A7IV with 200-600 f11, iso 200 1/200 and getting great results. Also stacking

Can’t say I have used that rule before. I don’t recall using a shutter speed that slow on the moon, I think it’s always been rather fast to mitigate the rotations of earth. I will have to try it next time, thank you.
