Ahhh, tell me about it, Mike ... There are some real benefits to living in London, having an abundance of outdoor space isn't one of them. LOL. You do have grafted Pawpaw in-ground though, how are they doing?

Wow, what an incredible collection of pawpaws! Those look like they will all get established really quickly for the recipients 🤞 Coincidently I may have a pawpaw video to go out later lol 😂 P.S. The hydrangea looked fabulous too!

Cheers, Peter. I do like that Hydrangea. I have propagated cuttings and given to a few of my neighbours.. Yes, those Pawpaw are really good specimens. I think the recipients will be pleased. If they choose they can even take scions from a couple of them to graft onto seedlings. They have got Pawpaw from me in the past and were keen to add more varieties to their collections. I'm really looking forward to your Pawpaw video. That reminds me, I need to do an update on my trees also.

Very nice plants! The Susquehanna is very interesting as I heard they are extremely tasty! (But of course I’d imagine that depends on the individual). The only thing I’m not jealous about is having to move all those pots under the rain 🤣

Haha, my neighbours must think I'm an odd one continuing to film in the rain. Just after I finished recording it got quite torrential so I rushed to bring them all in. 🤦‍♂ You're right, the Susquehanna is supposed to be an exceptional variety. I don't have one myself due to lack of space in my garden but hopefull when I get my allotment I can plant that variety.

Hahaha you were so unlucky with the weather mate. I’m surprised there’s not a good nursery in Ireland it would save you some miles. Are you keeping any for yourself?

@@SussexTropicals I'm in London but have family across Éire. I try and travel there a few times a year. There are some really excellent nurseries in Ireland but none stocking the range of exotic fruiting plants I'm into. Unfortunately I don't have any space to accommodate any more pawpaw, I already have 6 in-ground varieties in my microgarden. I'm on an allotment waiting list so may plant one or two there, when I get a plot.

Thanks for the recommendation. I hear very good thing about the Potomac .I believe it's the largest of the Peterson pawpaws too. Definetly hope to try it oneday.

How far did you have to go to find these trees? I assume you have to have a passport to travel mutliple countries in Europe?

Yes, a passport is required to travel from Britain into European Union countries.
