You are so inspiring even to this 37-year-old old lady. I graduated with an education degree and never felt like I could dress the way I wanted to. It was super frustrating at the time and I wish social media was a thing back then because maybe my twenties would have been a lot more freeing and not have felt so restrictive. Keep doing what you're doing! I hope a lot of young women see videos like this and become more relaxed on being themselves.

Sweetie, dress the way you want! Wear your hair how you want. Get tattoos and piercings if you want because no one can live your life for you! I'm 54 and am a total boho/hippie chick! I have over twenty tattoos and numerous piercings. I keep my hair long and often dyed blue. Once you stop worrying about what other people think, you're free! :)

I was fine throughout highschool but once in college the pressure to be "professional" (especially as a woman) was stressful! I got a tattoo at about 22 years old but made sure it was small enough to cover 🤦🏻‍♀️. I also took out all my piercings to appear more "hirable". A couple years ago I said fuck it and repierced all my piercings and got two more tattoos that would be hard to cover without just putting on a long sleeve shirt. 🤘🏻 Maybe at 40 I'll dye my hair for the first time 😅

I am so happy for you Penny! I come from a strict Mexican family and I know what it’s like to want all his body modifications but then the fear of getting them hold you back. I experienced a bad break up last year and finally I was like you know what I’m just gonna do it makes me happy. I finally got the three tattoos I wanted, pierced my bellybutton and honestly I don’t regret it. I still have three more tattoos to go but I’ve never been happier. Even though it does make my traditional family mad, my happiness is all that matters.

Nose piercings turned out great, despite not going to an APP piercer! Really glad to see some love for stretched piercings still circulating too. I had mine for nine years, took them out briefly because the positioning wasn't the best, then re-did it and i'm stoked :D

I love it! I've had my nostril pierced for years and have never had any problems with it. It heals pretty fast, too. Good choice! Last week I got my forward helix pierced. I love the way it looks! I also got a new tattoo...my artist and friend, Jocelyn did a beautiful job. I told her I wanted a crescent moon with stars and said she could do whatever she wanted as far as colors. It turned out SO gorgeous! She did a watercolor style with blues, purple and pink with white accents on the stars. LOVE!! Can't wait to see what else you do! Get a forward helix! ;)

PENNY TIP FOR STRETCHING! If you want them to at some point go back to a decent non noticeable size in the future try to stay a 2 gauge and under. In my experience as a piercer and stretcher that was the best advice I ever got and give through experience! Love you girl!
