So, the artifact you're seeing isn't texture tearing. What you're seeing is called Z-Fighting. This is when two surfaces are at the same position in the Z-Buffer used to determine the draw order of objects. You might be able to solve this just by slightly adjusting the position of objects by like 0.001 on the axis perpendicular to the surface, which might be enough to solve the Z-Fighting without making them appear in visibly different positions.

This may be implemented on the client. Links to outside youtube go pretty fast. Some other words seem to have a limit per account. Then a more complex algorithm deletes stuff like conspiracy theories after a few minutes. Finally, comments that draw complaints may be deleted days later.

I’ve got the perfect troll mod: Spherecraft, which makes everything round, while keeping similar hitbox dimensions, but the hitboxes are also round. A 1*1*1 block in midair will look like a sphere, and act as one, as the hitbox is now a sphere, not a cube, and I’m sure that a lot of chaos will come from playing with that mod.

Even looking at your "simple tower" I'm convinced these should be added for real to vanilla. With the stone cutter workstation they don't even need a shaped recipe. Completing the "builder's palette" would take up relatively little development resources, while it adds massive value in terms of giving creations a unique style. Same for things like concrete walls (fences), terracotta stairs, glass slabs, various wood variants of chests/barrels/crafting tables, etc.

To give the half-slabs perfect collision, use invisible shulkers (No AI) in the exact position of the slab! It'll be a laggier (Twice as many entities) but should work perfectly. Also, the more widely used term for the textures overlapping and going wonky is Z-fighting.

I'm gonna go experiment soon, because I don't know if it's possible, but you should make it so that if you place an item frame and then put a block in it, that block should spawn as a vertical slab on the item frame, replace the item frame and possibly set a player head. The hard parts would be storing what block is in the frame and somehow using it for summon without having one command for every single block, as well as storing the direction of the item frame and using it for the heads without the same problem.

Yeah I wish Mojang would get their heads out of their titanic, cash-stuffed asses and add vertical slabs, sideways stairs, and quarter-slabs to use as crown molding and baseboards. Honestly, EQ's voxel game did it best - you could make blocks in 3 sizes for ease of detailing.
