Sly 1 = best Anime like revenge story with best villian Sly 2 = most Quality in Gameplay, good build up (expect the clock-la twist, that destroyed Everything for me. It could be the best story if clcokwerk would have took over of his conscious for a final Showdown, dialouge and face off) Sly 3 = best story, most Character Development, best Climax, best Connection to old Franchise characters like Dmitri, mughsot & Panda king, and 2 even team you, best Character Development for sly what Ends the story FOR GOOD in a beautiful way.)

I've been looking at my trophy list and realized, to my shock, that out of the original trilogy I still haven't platinum'd Sly 3. And I don't think I can live with that, so finishing things up is on my to-do list. I love these games to death, and I really hope we'll see Sly again sometime in the future.

Years ago a friend introduced me to the Sly Cooper franchise with Sly 2: Band of Thieves. First game I played of the series. I then went about obtaining my own copies and at that time I was in high school. When I was obtaining Sly and Sly 2 I found out that there was a third one. How I love the original three games!!! Till now I have not had a newer gaming system than the PS2 slim I have had since 2005. I just obtained a PS5 for streaming PS3 games and allow me to play PS5 games too when they intrigue me. I am still going through Sly 4. I am having a blast with the latest in the franchise and so hopeful for a 5th game to honestly give a more rounded ending to the series. I thought that the end of Sly 3 was a good way to wrap things up especially for Sly and Carmelita (I always wanted them to make things work between them) but I felt that everyone else was in a place they needed to be in their lives that didn't require making further games for their story. With that said I will always enjoy more Sly content. Sony please bring back our favorite "Ringtail".

My intro to this series was buying Sly 2 from the small section in Bestbuy that let you buy and not rent. It was in a not factory case, I had never heard of them before. Its one of the best games Ive ever played and is a huge part of my childhood

Fun Fact, in Sly 1 you can't actually get all the vaults before beating Clockwerk IIRC. I believe the last vault always will require Bentley to learn Owl Dialect or something or other before he can decipher the code which he can do after you beat Clockwerk. Alright, I looked it up, and there is a small correction, it isn't the last vault but rather the vault in Duel By Dragon specifically.

I feel like this video was really well done. I just wish that it was a little bit longer because I enjoyed it so much. Maybe you could get more into detail about the more obscure trophies (which could be quite complicated to get) and just talk more about the games in general. You should definitely do this again with more childhood games!!

But it seems people really do like the longer content, so it’s just the challenge of making actual entertainment content that feels like it doesn’t drag on. These are really high quality games. Years ago, too, I bought the Sly HD trilogy for PS3, and I still play it today, 2-3 times a year. This trilogy (Along with the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank trilogies) is one of my all-time favorites. I've played the three chapters at least 14 times each (Sly 4 I've played it less, I like him too, but I think it's a little inferior to the PS2 trilogy) and they have never, NEVER bored me once. I could play it 100, 1000 times and still enjoy it like it was the first time. There are no new PS4 and PS5 games that manage to give me the same feeling of fun and happiness during my game sessions, as the Sly, Jak and Ratchet trilogies do. I'll be starting the trilogy again for the 15th time shortly, as soon as I get back from vacation and believe me, I can't wait to play it again. PS: My Favorite Sly is Sly 3, a game that I think is pure and absolute perfection in terms of Variety and Gameplay.

I'm in the middle of doing this as well! I grew up with the Sly games and would always boot up my PS2 every few years to replay them. I recently got access to them again thanks to the classics catalog on PSPlus on my PS5 and I'm trying to platinum all the games. I'm glad they're like the Ratchet & Clank collection trophies where it's just story and collectibles.
