I Platinum'd The Dishonored Series And It Was AMAZING

This is easily one of the best trilogies i've played/platinum'd ever. Nothing but nonstop PEAK.

the dishonored 1 dlc is what all videogame dlc should aspire to be, it's just more of dishonored, more badass combat, more great narrative, more expansive lore. I wish I had known about it's chronological order so I could have played the dlc one episode between each episode of main story.

For the first game, I thought "mostly flesh and steel" meant I couldn't USE *ANY* supernatural abilities. I went through a non-lethal ghost playthrough without using any powers, including blink. It was by far the most fun playthrough I've gone through to date.

I remember spending a lot of time on the two narrative dlc for the first game. The story ark of Daud could have been a whole standalone game, introducing crucial details about the upcoming events of the other games. Give it a try if you havent played it yet, they're pretty cool!

If you go back in time and knock out (but not kill) Aramis Stilton, it changes the time line so that Billie never gets angry and tries to kill the Serkonan Guards that were there. This results in her never losing her arm or eye, which is why the Outsider messes with her arm and eye.

After watching your videos, I finally played the first game and I had no idea how many great actors were in this; Carrie Fisher, Brad Dourif as Piero, Susan Sarandon as Granny Rags and Michael Madsen as Daud. I bought this game in 2013 or 2012 when it first came out for the 360 and hated it at first bc I was a stupid unknowledged child. I thought it was hard and confusing, but you can literally do anything you want in whatever way you want too, because of this and the fact that it’s first person with powers and visually hits everything I need in an immersive sim, the trilogy will forever reign supreme in my books. Hope to see a new installment from the series soon after redfall tanked.. I NEED MORE ARKANE

You made a lil mistake during the timeline of the games, Dishonored DOTO comes after Dishonored 2. During the mission where you can time travel, if you knock out Stilton the future changes, which results in Billie not losing her eye or arm. So the timeline is basically Dishonored 1, then 2 then DOTO

The reason megan had 2 hands was because the nonlethal option for the assasinate targets are the cannon choices and when you knock out aramis stilton it saves megans arm in the future. Death to the outsider takes place after D2 cuz if it was inbetween 1 and 2 how would the outsider be alive in D2?

You can attach a Spring Razor to Granny Rag's door before you open it to get at least one free kill. Also, if you don't talk to her the first time you go in, you can walk past her through the door to the back and pick up the rune back there without her getting mad, then do her quests afterward.

That last contract was painful, I knocked the three unconscious before getting the contract. I was losing my mind trying to search the place from top to bottom before remembering that I forgot about the three I knocked out earlier. Never has burning three corpses at once given me so much peace.

The confusion over Billie's arm in D2 to DotO is you can save Erasmis Stilton from ever seeing the ritual that sent him mad, in turn Billie never went to find him, meaning she never lost her arm. This seems to be the canon choice. Also, the Dust District completely changes if you save Stilton, and his mansion will never become rundown, making time swapping pretty easy.

@@nullone3181 Yes, saving Stilton from attending the ritual is the canon choice, but it created a paradox where Billie still has her eye and arm, which is why the Outsider comes to take them from her, in order to ''fix'' that timeline's inconsistency.

DOTO takes place after Dishonored 2, She has her arm and her eye if you knock out Stilton in the second game, and the Outsider takes her arm and eye away, and in return, she gets supernatural powers (she didn't have a choice to receive those powers or not.) I think before she accepted the loss of her arm and eye in DOTO, she could feel the pain of both and that is a reference to changing what happens in the past in Dishonored 2.

Death of the outsider is one of the best dlcs I've ever played, right along the bloodborne and 2 dark souls 3 dlcs. I don't like the ending as I didn't want the outsider to die or lose his powers, but gameplay-wise you get so much bang for your buck.

just letting you know shadow/ghost just needs you to not be seen, guards dont techncially "alert" if they spot a body, they just become aware that something is up but dont know its you specifically kinda thing. but the key thing is you gotta make sure you dont get spotted by enemies in the inbetween parts of the mission like when you have to get weepers out of the dog pit's sewer

Songs of Serkonos was one of the hardest achievements i had the displeasure of getting. For the last song, dont you need to pretty much do a ghost run so that the band spawns instead of a gang of Howlers?

funny enough most good heart people were invited by luca abele in that mission. I only watch here because of the funny thumbnail, honestly i dont care much about achievement, i play low chaos and try to be canon by kill some, spare some, open battle some, etc. (In dishonored 1 i spare everyone and do non-lethal untill flooded district. There i kill all daud assasins, fight daud in open battle, spare him, kill granny rag, kill havelock in cinematic kill by grabbing key but spare every soldiers) i havent played dishonored 2 thou, i guess i should play it now
