Very hard game, fast pace required to defend from multiple attacks. Find a friend to play Sea Battle with, very different experience. Astrosmash is still my favorite game for Intellivision. Would like to see your reaction playing.

Yeah I accidentally set it to a faster speed and it was very difficult, I lost pretty quickly. Currently I don't have Sea Battle or Astrosmash, I'll keep a look out for them. If I can get over my paranoia of showing my face online and figure out a dual camera setup then yeah I'll show my reaction when playing games.

I wanted an Intellivison so bad as a kid

Well you could get one now if you're still interested, it's quite fun. That said as a kid I really wanted a decent sized Meccano set, but once I eventually got one I only used it occasionally. By that time I'd already got other hobbies and interests.

yeah I think the moment has passed 😀

I'm really loving these videos of you playing Intellivision games! This one looks pretty slow (at least on the slowest speed) but quite fun! Man, I really want to get an intellivision now! Also, Yes, Star Strike definitely looks like Star Wars lol Can't wait for more of these! This also reminds me that I need to get back to doing some videos of playing Atari games and recording them through my retro video cameras!

Thanks, glad you enjoy them! On the faster speed I later accidentally set it to it certainly wasn't slow any more! My Intellivision has turned out to be pretty fun so far with the selection of games it came with, also I really like the styling. It looks perfect on the little table I've got. Once I fix my National VCR and get a capture card I would potentially be able to film the TV better so that's another reason for me to get on with that. Looking forward to more of your Atari videos!

@@toomanyinterests I'm glad you're enjoying the Intellivision! You actually shouldn't need to repair the VCR unless you're planning to record the game screen to tape first! If you get a capture card, You should be able to get the AV straight out of the camera! I did that for a long time when my Hitachi Portable VCR was broken! Awesome, I'll see about getting on that! I might also do it with my ColecoVision too!

@@Dedicatedtolivinginthepast Yeah I can use the AV or RF signal out of the VCR without fixing it, but it's currently rather dismantled so I'd have to put it together again before I can do that. Depends on how hard the issue is to fix. I've seen a CBS ColecoVision, but it's missing the power supply. It does have the two expansion modules and a group of games, any good? Looks like I'm in for more compulsive buying. Oh well, I can't do any worse than I did with cameras. Only really started collecting old cameras last year, I think I have at least 40 now, probably more.

@@toomanyinterests Oh, Yeah lol It would be kinda hard to use while dismantled! How much is the ColecoVision? If it's fairly cheap, It sounds like a great deal as ColecoVision stuff tends to be more rare and more expensive than Atari 2600 or Intellivision stuff! The only obstacle with the ColecoVision is the power supply connector, It only uses 5V and 12V, But The connector is super weird! You could probably get by using some clip leads but I'm not sure! I don't blame you, Both old cameras and old video games are pretty cool!

@@Dedicatedtolivinginthepast I don't know how much the ColecoVision will go for, it'll be going up for auction in the next few weeks and the starting price is AU$100, but I doubt it'll stay at that. Yeah weird connectors are annoying, I suppose it'd be another reason for me to get a (lower voltage) variable power supply. Yep, both are cool! So are gramophones, record players, radios, clocks, chairs, side tables, old TVs... the list goes on...
