Gorgeous sounding instrument and magnificent playing as always. Nevertheless, one can spend far less than 10 large and get an acoustic that sounds just as good including the inherent intonation (the intonation of that acoustic is phenomenal, especially considering that it's capoed). The 10k just gets you very aesthetically pleasing choice wood. (that Neumann ain't too shabby either...what's the rest of the input chain?)

@@skyhr go check Yamaha ac3r , if you need better version that's made in Japan and high end hardware, yamaha ac5r. ^^ I use Lakewood m18cp (my recording quality is still bad, I'm still learning it TT) , but it's just a little bit better from my previous guitar which is only 1/4 price of my Lakewood ^^ , from tone quality it's just the same high quality, just different character.. Spending this much money is just for personal proud of having a "dream" guitar ^^ , but also you got the highest quality of guitar.

@@skyhr I can only honestly answer that question for myself. Back in 1996 I bought a Taylor 814CE Grand Auditorium. Indian rosewood back/sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck, Ebony board... I paid $2600 then... My Taylor is magnificent. I would put it up against this guitar in the video tone wise. I see them for about $3400 now but if I walked into a shop today for another acoustic I'd certainly be looking at all guitars in that price range meaning $2k-$4k~ Honestly though, you need ot strum, listen, and feel. You may find a gem at a far lower price point. Rich overtones, harmonic content responsive to how you strum, etc... Sorry for the vague answer, guitars are magic wands, you know? P.s. Good ACOUSTIC shops keep their instruments in environmentally controlled rooms, and the strings are always fresh. If that's not the case... you're not shopping in the right store.

Actually it isn’t quite like that when it comes to luthier built guitars. Some, not all, can be mind blowingly good. You just pay a lot more for that extra magic you find in these instruments. Total game-changers, I had the same opinion until I tried many of them.
