Being drunk makes you have less control to your body. Guns are a means of protection. Unless people become drunken masters that drinking becomes a means of protection the logic isnt hilarious but is actually reasonable.

As a European it's crazy to me that in some US states you can open carry a loaded gun, but you can't hold a open can of beer. Think about that for a second... Walk around with a pistol while drinking from a bottle of beer and it's the beer that will get you in trouble. Edit: Changed machine gun to pistol. The issue remains.

@@sorinMonoxide Don't be so sure about that, dude. BxA1 -- it's over. Yes, he can draw the game out, hoping beyond hope that she blunders. OTOH, I was taught the game at a very young age by Senior Masters, IM's, and GM's. They all taught me to never, ever play "Hope Chess," where u hope they don't see a particular move. Always give a strong player the benefit of a doubt that they see the move. I'd resign immediately if I saw the writing on the wall in a game. Playing on when lost can be quite insulting to a strong player. Actually, if u plan on playing them again, pissing them off like that can be seen as trash talking. If I was going to trash talk either of them, I'd just say: "Ah. Pretty and can play the game a bit, huh? Taking advantage of that to make money on KZbin, I see. Good for you! Now, let's see if you can really play the game." That would get both of them going, and then some. LOL!

@@alancoe1002 Yeah. I know Jude. When Alfred was teaching me, he used to bring us to spar with Jude. He's probably about a 2K player or so. I drew him my 1st game against him, and I crushed him the 2nd. LOL! Here's an interesting fact about Jude. Back in the day, Jude would setup rated matches with people 300-400 rating points below him, and he inched his way up the ratings list, 1-2 points at a time. Eventually, the USCF caught on, locked his rating for life, and changed the way matches work for everyone. Ah, Jude. I was just in New Orleans. I thought about going to The French Market and playing him, but I figured he was probably getting worse at the game, mainly because of age and playing run-of-the-mill street players. Back in the day -- 1980's or so -- there used to be some semi-decent street hustlers who played on the corner of Canal and Bourbon. They'd play on the top of a newspaper dispenser next to a Popeye's Chicken place. If I had to guess, they are probably still playing there every day. BTW, most of those guys playing then were about 1800-1900 or so, and they'll gamble, if they're still playing there and haven't been run off. They quit playing me for cash when they saw me with Alfred. :D

@@alancoe1002 Good memories for me as well. During college, in the summer I'd sometimes take a break and not take classes, and I'd spend all of my time in New Orleans playing chess with Alfred and crew. We'd play something known as "double speed chess," where my partner and I were white, and our opponents were black. If I captured a piece, I could hand it to my partner, and when it was my partners turn to move, he could either make a legal move or place any piece I gave him on the board. Knights are completely deadly, of course. There is another name of this game, but I'm too old to remember what it was called. Somebody help me with this, please. LOL!

Actually in that position Bh3 mate threat on g2. White stops the mate threat with Rf2 and then blacl attacks the queen with Rd8. If queen moves from d file its mate in 2 with the rook

I'm watching thinking about going fishing with friends while playing a chess game.. Now that would be a strong match.. Lol The first guy simply threw in the towel once he noticed the game was going to be harder than expected and seeing a possible loss.

7:36 - guy with the red scarf. 7:38 - “Wtf is she saying?” 7:40 - “These people aren’t funny.” 7:44 - “Why do they keep going on about the hat?” 7:56 - “Was this waffle thing another joke? Man I don’t get any of these...” 8:06 - “Perhaps it’s me... perhaps I’m just not funny.” 8:20 - “I’ll just develop the slightest and subtlest of smiles. It will be hidden under my beard anyway.” 8:37 - “Yeah, no, I’m pretty sure these aren’t funny at all.” 8:57 - “I mean, wtf am I even doing here? Why don’t I just leave. Isn’t there someone I know here?” 9:48 - “I don’t even play chess. Wtf is going on here? Perhaps they don’t notice if I pretend I am interested.” 10:17 - “Ok what’s happening? Is it finally over? Thank heavens, I think it’s over.”

on the chess board overlay what is the white line on the left side, weakness/strength?
@ozymandias6741
@ozymandias6741 2 жыл бұрын
It's called the evaluation bar. The computer analyses the position and tells you who is in a stronger position. In the second game you can see the evaluation bar swing in favour of black as Andrea's position becomes stronger. When you reach a checkmate position the bar completely fills up with the corresponding colour.
