Something I love from the old MvsC games is how detailed some of the levels are, they either have multiple levels of scroll, a bunch of easter eggs or some nice gimmick that make the stage look different between or during matches.

It seems they took so many steps back after mvc2. MVC3 would've been better had a lot more of mvc2 characters returned and they kept the sprite format instead of whatever other format they were going for. Like Bruno, we just don't talk about MVCI lol. Hopefully whenever mvc4 comes it will be a return to form and not just dumbass mcu shitty characters.

It’s because 1 is more balanced than 2. The top tier and God tier characters in 2 are way, way, too strong leaving a really big gap with the other characters. With 1, everyone is more equal in terms of use.

Man, I LOVE the aesthetic of this game so much. I played it long after we got MVC2 at my local joint years back. Still love it, wish games had more hidden characters like this. At least swaps like Shadow Lady were radically different and not just pallette swaps

Where Shadow in Marvel vs Street Fighter was just Charlie Nash with a longer windup for his Supers, Shadow Lady in MvC1 is a whole other kind of character! Was exciting to see her come back as a boss in Street Fighter V.

You can play double Chun-Li in X-Men vs Street Fighter but you have to pull the second Chun-Li from random select. I used to play against a guy who could get her every time. Drove me nuts haha

I hope Shadow Lady becomes a playable character in Street Fighter 6. They should just go all out for the game. If Akuma, Ryu, and even Ken have had dark forms, why not Chun Li? Dark Sakura should be a thing too!!

1: Akuma is already has the Satsui No Hadou 2: We don't need Dark Forms for Ken and Ryu in 6, they've ran their course in previous games (Not to mention Ryu expelled the Satsui No Hadou in 5) 3: Dark Sakura (Sunburned Sakura) was exclusive to MSHvsSF and MVC2 and should stay that way...

Also Shadow Lady only playable in MVC, as for her being in 6, I wouldn't see the reason to add her considering that Bison is dead now...(He's the one who turn Chun Li into Shadow Lady) So she wouldn't have a storyline to be in 6...

Justin just plays video games for a living... he's able to get good because that's all he does. So I figure it's more entertaining for us for him to use lower tiered characters because he has more time to play with them.
