My friend, you have more guts playing this game for us than I ever could and I sincerely commend you for your bravery. I'm with you on this one, because let's face it, Retro Hijinx is a type of "game" which is being hated by everyone in the Crash Bandicoot community and rightfully so due to malware it had, plastered with hate-arts against real people, terrible graphics, bad level designs, worst gameplay and created by a person who bullies people (and yes, I'm looking at you, Guyus). Crash Bandicoot: Back in Time, on another hand, is a trillion times better than that crappy piece of trash (which I like to call Retro Hijinx), because Back in Time have better gameplay, awesome level designs as well as a really create-a-level feature and made by a guy who is a real Crash fan than that loser Guyus the Raptor (no doubt that Guyus was NOT a real fan of the Crash Bandicoot series despite that he's obsessed with the classic Crash).

With seeing this video I can conclude many things: 1-Guyus doesn't even know how to put the appropriate colors on his website. (Seriously, why are the colors very saturated?) 2-Guyus still has a notable resentment towards those from "toys for bob", "Activision" and in general everything that has to do with the modern crash bandicoot. 3-The game shows that it is based on "Crash Bandicoot: wrath of cortex" and like that game it has the same problem: it tries to be equal to or better than the "naughty dog" trilogy and even better than crash 4: IAT but it just doesn't get it. 4-The creator of this fangame has to learn something called: subtlety. and also something called: Self-control. Since you see anti-modern crash messages all the time and even put your internet enemies and the IAT crash hanged fed up and bitter...and quite a bit.(Put crash hanged to scare modern fans guyus?... no you think that would be a bad thing for you) 5-Despite being a demo, it is clear that the game is not yet well polished... especially in some hitboxes and in some animations... Overall I can say that Guyus should stop acting as the crash savior...because, maybe I'm not the best person to say this, but I think this work is NOT ANY CLOSE to saving the "genuine article" ( I don't even know what that means...) and on top of that this game seems more made with hate than love towards the franchise...

Lower the resolution of the game? dude, my toaster can play Retro hijinx on it's highest setting. The resolution isn't the issue (clearly), it's the coding.

@@GWKTM lowering resolutions doesn't always fix things my dude, if you was a game developer you'd know that. What creates choppy frame rates is unprioritized coding, you've clearly not cleaned up your coding seeing how broken the physics engine is. Lowering resolution is only good to help unload texture detail onto a computer that's already pushing it's limit. But if it's already struggling with reading badly optimised code, this won't help it. Lowering my resolution is literally just polishing a turd.

As someone who's relatively new in the Crash Bandicoot space(I became a fan when Crash was announced for Skylanders Imaginators.) I do kind of see the vision of Retro Hijinx,but Guyus makes it hard to appreciate that vision. A retro-styled Crash Bandicoot game ala Sonic Mania sounds wonderful,but his toxic hatred for the new Crash stuff is intense,I never even saw anyone in the Sonic fanbase act like him. I'm not saying he's not allowed to criticize the new games,I even have some of my own.(I wished they used more of the japanese elements of the series that helped make Crash what it is now,and I felt Crash 4 lost a bit of the "Looney Tunes but cooler" flair I got and loved from the N Sane Trilogy)but there's a difference between light jabs and just being rude to people to simply feel different to a video game.

I have not played that many games from Crash series, but based on what I know... This fangame looks so dead. Enemies are hardly moving, there's not much happening. I mean for someone who's not a Crash player. You got it spot on! Crash 1, 2 and 3 is choc full of amazing different enemy types, traps, pit holes and different unique animations for the character to get a game over. This though? It was empty and the enemies was very easy to predict (except for the enemies where you couldn't dodge their bullets). And the hate art distracts from what should be a naughty dog inspired game. I was able to do this because I bought a new computer and needed to redownload all my steam games. So I thought, well this is the perfect time to try out this terrible dog shyte game. And truth is, it's not hard to delete useless bat files that try and delete your files. Could be but even then it makes little sense, in a call with a user named Loaten. Loaten asks Guyus why he never freaked out over such redesigns as Crash Tag Team racing or Twin sanity. Guyus's response is basically excuses and saying "They didn't venture too far off from the original design". But we barely see him hate on the mutant games either, if models was a problem. Guyus should have alot of problems with the crash games. Guyus hatred for the new models is most likely the case, it's just there's so little rhyme or reason to his logic.

Honestly, this game is so sad, and not because it's barely playable.. I'm usually very happy to see any kind of fangame from the Crash community, but this one is very heavy even to watch... Who could enjoy playing a game with so much hate in it? Regardless of its author, this game is really the opposite of what a fangame should be from my point of view, no matter how good the gameplay can be.
