The third wave of minigames in Cars 1 is actually the best from what I remember, it had tractor tipping which I actually think is the best version of that minigame and it had a minigame where you race Mater backwards in Willy’s Butte (basically a Piston Cup race but with reversed controls and it’s not an autoscroller) Speaking of the Piston Cup, actually, you can actually try to pop all 4 of Chick’s tires to take him out of the race instantly, but he can do the same thing to you, which makes it really tense

I remember playing the cars 2 DS game a ton as a kid, constantly replaying through the story and races. Though I always remember thinking it was too easy lol

I genuinely believe there could have been a port of the ps2 cars game to the Psp counterpart, it could have been like from xbox 360 unleashed to nintendo wii unwiished, but with low res cutscenes, with the full story and hub world, etc.

The Cars 1 PSP game actually used McQueen's home console model textures in low resolution, and the menu music is also from the home console version, but it only during races.
