It might seem like infinite world is similar to bd3, but the removal of the red dragon rush form was a huge plus for competitive play. The new combos, increased similarity to the psp games, and increased speed of the game made it the best one for battling with other people.

Yeah if Infinite World came out on PS3/360 at the time instead of an extremely dated PS2 release it probably could have had a healthy competitive scene for a while and been remembered much more fondly, unfortunately nobody played it and when they look it up they just think it's a Budokai 3 knockoff

Well, I didn't play the third game ever and just had brief looks at these two. I did play the first two games as a kid when I were 13-14 years-old. For some reason I did miss out on the third one as a teen.

I hope the algorithm hits, or enough people just share this content because a whole channel just playing every game in a franchise is interesting. All the videos are so high quality, even if I wasn’t just some fan, I could still recommend this for the effort in playing all the games, the editing isn’t important but is definitely good and what you’d expect, the voice behind the videos has good quality and just sounds like someone I’ve heard before because the quality is that good, the scripting does good justice to the games explaining/introducing them very well. I couldn’t get mad at the Roblox video, you were polite and mostly open minded and yeah, some of the games on there were justifiably bad and confusing. This is the quality of 100K to 1M subscribers, especially for a new series. It’s definitely because this channel is old looking at the old videos, so you have experience and the right equipment. All you need is a little more juice from the public, and this channel is gonna go somewhere. Somewhere around the likes of Nathaniel Bandy, Nick Robinson, Scott the Woz, any other medium to big sized gaming commentary channels, the voices and just tone of the voices are very similar, but each have their own subtle qualities I like. Good luck man, you’ve just begun (technically heh..) edit: nice sponsorship by the way, for only 15k, you’re already getting some deserved support at least in the monetary side.

I would like to add that: Infinite World added a new "Boosted Mode" that gave characters in the Roster without a Finishing Move their own boosted version of their attacks. This basically made it to that a character like Kid Gohand could now launch a Masenko that did triple the damage, and also had AoE splash damage.

Burst Limit probably has my favorite alternate color for Goku's gi where the colors are literally just inverted. The end of z gi is cool but I love the dark blue gi, orange wristbands, and undershirt so much more

He leaves out that Shin Budokai Another Road is almost fully dedicated to Future Trunks and what he does after beating the Androids and Cell in his own timeline. He has his own Majin saga and more. I loved this a lot. It even gave Future Gohan more time to shine and a Super Saiyan 2 form.

Infinite Worlds is complete Perfection! The mechanics were super modified to be a proper fighter and the variety of combos is literally infinite! Sure, Budokai Tenkaiichi 3 has the greatest lineup of fighters, but IW did make some great selections! I just wish it got a proper followup!

Infinite World needs more love and attention. Such an incredible game overshadowed by Budokai 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and the simple fact that people were moving on from the PS2 era. The only gripe I ever had about the game was that they didn't keep beam struggles, but everything else felt like a huge leap upward from Budokai 3. You actually get to land moves like Warp Kamehameha and Special Beam Cannon instead of getting thwarted by some built in BS mini game mechanics. Fatigue meter was simple and straightforward, and the capsule system was perfected. My favorite way to play was Majin Vegeta (a capsule that took 3 slots in Budokai 3) with Senzu Bean (4 slot capsule in Budokai 3) leaving little room for anything else. I also liked how characters like Teen Gohan got a non-mini game ultimate attack so you can actually land them and do damage or use it as a Hail Mary from full screen. The whole game was so good. For anybody still playing Infinite World and trying to earn a lot of money quickly, in the Fighter's Road on Earth, there's this one spot on Earth where you'll fight Vegeta in the desert and the only move he'll go for is Fusion. Just play Very Hard or Z, pick Teen Gohan, put on some capsules that increase the fatigue damage you deal and then equip 2 Masenko and an Ultimate Kamehameha. 1 Masenko will hit for like 45% fatigue and you can just mop him up lol. Avoid and evade with the shoulder button dashes when he tries to go into his burst mode to do Fusion. You can rake in like 50k per match if I recall, and the match would last 20 seconds or less when you get good at it. It's been a while though, my numbers might be skewed but the strategy is legit.

Burst limit and Infinite world were not released in the same year. IW was released in ‘09 and burst limit ‘07. It is why a lot of all of the series assets including burst limits were pulled into Infinite world as it was Budokai’s last hoorah.

Another thing mentioning about PSP Dragonball Evolution is that its story adds some details such as Piccolo mentioning Goku is a Saiyan and that's why Oozaru possessed him, as well as having an extra story mode of Piccolo's return in the "Neo Piccolo Arc" after you complete the main story rather than just having the film's lazy sequel-bait. It says a lot about DBE's "quality" when what was meant to be nothing more than a cashgrab tie-in/Shin Budokai clone puts far more effort into telling a concise story than the actual film did.

Story can be ignored unless covering something not done before (though I'd prefer it be what-ifs). Neat exchanges are fine (appreciated in writing). With Super existing, there is quite a lot to be done there alone. I see less reason to even think of humoring things going on with other material (as with Heroes). Even having a character from it would be asking a lot (Hearts, for instance). Xenoverse doesn't have a lot I would want, either. Mostly costumes (which mods can cover in the PC world given devs will probably fail to deliver on that front). FSF on (Super **manga, so even less likely to appear ever as with GBF only seen via a card game**) Vegeta would be a pain in the ass to incorporate in terms of balancing. Even at the most basic level (doubtful Toyo sees him expand it or even doing more with his Spirit Control training **clones, size adjustment, warping, etc.**) for the master skill, being able to directly damage a foe to send foreign ki to its owner would make for some very brutal match-ups against him. Some fool that steals energy? Just beat it back out of them (nerf them and buff yourself). The type that absorbs others? Beat those states right out of them (sucks for Cell, Buu, etc.). Fusion? You already know the timer is getting run down in a hurry (even earrings will fail). The concept of SB should do poorly against it (not to mention a reversed FSF principle doing this, but with a better application **one not applicable to 1v1, mind you**). NOTE: B3's Omega didn't exactly use all the dragon moves, but his "Dragon Thunder" was awesome for how it let him play (holding it in while doing other things). >guess we can talk about it Guess again. >ENG Sauce is Evo Gokek Oh lawd.

Not sure if people know but James Marsters, who played Piccolo in Dragonball Evolution, would eventually be hired by Funimation to voice Zamasu in Dragonball Super. I actually really enjoy Infinite World. I love the variety of gameplay present in the story mode.

On the one hand, it is a shame that Burst Limit didn't get sequels, as the first game was clearly just there to set up a foundation for a potential series since they had to redo all the assets from scratch in HD graphics (hence why it just went up to Cell). However, on the other hand, a big reason why it didn't get a continuation is because the Dimps team that worked on BL moved on to work on Street Fighter IV with Capcom, which seems like the much smarter decision on their part.
