Later Gen Pokémon you caught couldn’t be transferred beck though, which would be a problem.

Yeah, but a bunch can't be transferred to 8 or 9 anyways, plus a ton of the Pokemon are repeats, so anything that looks about on level for difficulty can be ordered as such. But also level should be taken into account so you don't have a situation like Gen 7 into 8 having a higher level cap than the next gym

@@richardward6484 Well with 9 gens he had enough games to be able to fight a gym leader per game, with Scarlet/Violet being the E4+Champ. With 13 games each E4 member would be a seperate game as well as the champ.

@@essentures Not necessarily, since early gen Pokemon can be found in Gens 6-9, and dex cuts only began in Gen 8. The consistent problem would just be that 'current Gen' Pokemon would be immediately culled, and for Gen 9 there's only a few non-big detour encounters, and two are forced as Palea pokemon (starter and tutorial Lechonk).

Ragnar is actually transferable into SV. You get a Galarian Meowth from Salvatore in his quest. It isn't in the dex, but it is in the game.

21:20 Perrserker is not cut from Scarlet/Violet's dex, if one Pokémon from an evolution line is in the rest can be transferred. And in the case of Perrserker you can even get it without transferring, if you do all the language classes at the academy the teacher will give you a Galarian Meowth

Maybe you could share the code to us all so that we can have some fun with this? 1000% agree with your take about Guzma btw and i'm so glad that the story parts with him and Lusamine were kept in for this run as it definitely gave us the best part of the game! Maybe you could or someone else could change it in the future so that the order was random and/or maybe make sure that the dex cut pokemon can somehow make an appearance at the end?

I got an idea for a nuzlocke where you play through every pokemon game but your box and party carries over and you get badges in order from lowest to highest, but it ended up being a bit boring considering i had like a box of encounters after a few badges. I'd love to see a randomized version of this. Roulette every generation, and just for kicks add FRLG, HGSS, B/W2, and ORAS for a "revisit" to be able to fight each Elite 4 and champion, whoever they may be. If X/Y are somehow chosen for Elite 4, you then can choose which E4 member to fight. :D

This was literally my favorite Pokemon video in a LONG time. This makes me want to try something similar, though I'd be more lazy and just PKHex my team into each game, because man the amount of time to get every team in every game would take forever. I think instead of going in order, it would be fun to randomize which region u start 1st without repeating regions but ofc u can't transfer pokemon backwards pre switch and some newer pokemon wouldn't be able to go to old ones either. BUT maybe whichever gen u skip u can redeem by play a remake version of it to avoid fighting the same gym leaders multiple times
