This is the first RPG I’ve played since I was 6 years old 😂. I have a lot to learn, a lot of questions, but this is a game I definitely want to continue playing. It's always fun to watch people playing Genshin for the first time. Trust me when I tell you that everything you've liked about the game so far is only the tip of the iceberg. So many banger music, amazing story quests, beautiful regions, and challenging enemies and puzzles await you, so enjoy! As someone who has played Genshin since the 2nd month, this was fun to watch. I always enjoy seeing people's reactions to the music, to the environments, to the story, the characters etc. "New player reacts to all the Genshin character trailers / version trailers" tends to get a lot of views. The new character experience at this point (when the amount of content available is just way more than it was 2 years ago) will get a lot of interest, I think.

I really hope you pay attention to story too, so many people look past it and just think its all about waifu's. Personally love it for story, lore, exploration, and gameplay. Waifu's are a bonus (: Some people say story is mid, which i can see but is still worth paying attention too. It makes the game have so much more meaning and quality

Hey Nick! As someone who loves this game, I'm really happy that you started playing and liked so much! I just have 2 advices for you: first, now that you watched all the characteres demos, dont watch anything else until you are up to date with the main quest, focus on this (even if you watch some trailers, you wont even understand most of it, so dont mess up your experience because the story of this game is really good); and second just get whichever character you like, dont mind people saying "this one is trash", because absolute everyone is totally good and usable if you understande how the game works. if you upload yourself playing this episodically i'd 100% watch every episode. i've been playing it since around when it came out, so even if you don't see every comment, i'll probably try to give tips anyway since i like trying to be helpful. my first tips are elemental reactions and ability synergies; first off, there are 7 elements in the game- geo (earth), electro (lightning), pyro (fire), hydro (water), anemo (wind), cryo (ice) and dendro (plants). you can mix them to do different things; pyro and dendro makes enemies burn for a while, anemo with pyro, electro, cryo or hydro will make a large burst of that element, geo will drop little shields and clear the status from the enemy, and more. secondly, characters usually have synergies between their abilities. you can check the details of a character's kit by going into the character menu and looking at the 'talents" tab, but all you need to know with the starting characters is that; - Lisa's charge attack and tap-use of her "skill" (RT ability) marks enemies, up to 3 or something iirc, making them take more damage from the hold-use of her skill - Noelle has a very chunky shield (her elemental skill) that scales with her Defense stat, and while her shield is up, attacking with her will give you a chance to heal all party members, the amount of which also scales with her defense - Kaeya gives super easy cryo application, which works well against enemies hit with hydro, which freezes them in place. you can also use him to freeze water and walk across oceans if you have the patience and timing - Traveller, for now, just has anemo at his disposal and it's pretty strong in the early game, especially paired with pyro, in my experience. hold down his skill to continuously swirl elements around him, and it'll do great to clear low-level mobs - Amber's skill, the rabbit thing, distracts enemies and works well for giving you time to shoot things with her bow. she's... not that useful. her burst is cool, though, sending a torrent of flaming arrows at a nearby enemy in a fairly large AoE. as one last tip, don't wish on the standard banner. you have better odds of getting characters (which, when you're just starting out, is a good idea) on the "character event wish". the math is complicated, but every 10 wishes you're guaranteed a purple-rarity (4*) drop, with a 50-50 chance of it being a character shown on the banner. if you get a weapon or a character not on the banner, your next 4* is guaranteed to be one of those characters. every 90 wishes, however, you're guaranteed a 5*, or orange-rarity, which as far as i'm aware is guaranteed to be a character on the character banner. that also has the 50-50 stipulation, but most 5*s only show up on the event wish, wheras there are 5 characters always on the standard wish- Qiqi, Jean, Mona, Diluc and Keqing, conveniently in every element except for geo. i've heard next update adds a dendro character, but i dunno

What a big surprise! Congrats you finally fall into the Genshin hole! The game can be grindy sometimes so do take your time to find your favorite thing to vibe with the game. The best way to start my day. A genshin vid from Nick and finally the long awaited Desert Region in genshin is coming out too!!! Hope you'll enjoy the game Nick! Take your time, sometimes you can feel burned out especially if your a new player since there are soooo much quests to do, but as Ayato said 'Pace yourself before you erase yourself'. Genshin is filled with lore and I appreciate you not skipping the dialogues. Although it might be a little cliche at the beginning, you'll start doubting everyone once you know enough. Genshin impact is really generous. If your playing everyday for a year, you might get a 50000 primo gems and around a 7000 starglass all of the are enough for 900 pulls, 80 4 stars weapons or characters and 10 5 stars weapon or characters
