Not to be a backseat gamer, but Skelly's keepsake The Lucky Tooth gives you an extra death defiance. You can just switch to it after beating Asterius and Thesius to guarantee an extra death defiance for Stix. It doesn't give you a ton of health until its upgraded, but it's probably the best one you have unlocked so far.

@scar7411 my favorite combo is aspect of zagreus twin fists, lambent plume, and any of his dodge upgrade boons the higher rarity the better this build once you get to hades on average you have about 50% dodge chance and it is all around just makes it harder to die or take damage

And honestly especially for Lucky Tooth using it doesn’t prevent you from getting better, it’s better at being a training wheel than a god boon magnet is

Not for nothing, but Hermes gives you some fire upgrades that will absolutely help you. Don’t discount what he brings to the table. Also, don’t discount Poms. You heavily Pom up a single boon, maybe two over the course of a run, and your 50% attack buff becomes a 120% attack buff by endgame.

Heads up for future, the cursed slash Daedalus upgrade is probably THE BEST upgrade for the sword. The bonus max health you pick up makes up for the 60 percent decrease and when you think about how much you attack the +2 healing EVERY HIT will make up for almost all the damage you take in a given room, if you're decent at dodging between attacks. It's not great late game but it is good for a normal run as far as surviving.

Great job! I would take a run to work on dashing and movement, so you can get used to the i-frames, especially in the Hades Fight. The ground waves and a bunch of other attacks can be avoided by a well timed dash.

Just so you know Hermes has some of the best boons in game. He is like the Hammer of the gods. You can get a chance to get his boons 2 or 4 times a game I think. I'm 220hrs in H2 rn, but it is the same in 2.

The title of this video is literally me trying to beat Hades at least once. Context completely blind individual technology is how I'm typing this comment. Had little vision growing up and fell in love with video games. Was introduced to Hades after being completely blind for 7 to 8 years and I fell in love with it. God mode makes it like a puzzle for me and I was able to beat Hades when I got to him for the first time simply because I decided to use the shield Aries on my special, Athena Dash. So tell people if a blind man can beat Hades much like Sisyphus and his ever eternal struggle to push a boulder only for it to go back to the bottom of the hill. It is possible
