Heads up for future, the cursed slash Daedalus upgrade is probably THE BEST upgrade for the sword. The bonus max health you pick up makes up for the 60 percent decrease and when you think about how much you attack the +2 healing EVERY HIT will make up for almost all the damage you take in a given room, if you're decent at dodging between attacks. It's not great late game but it is good for a normal run as far as surviving.

Dont really get the praise for this. Slot machine type mechanics, boring enemies and then "upgrades" to make it playable. This thing is mostly what RPGs like Diablo and PSO play like. But there you get to keep the good drops. Plus, you get to retreat, so you push when you're ready to go. This is just... repetitve game design from lack of a budget.

Hi, I'm not a veteran or anything, but great video man❤, i also have some tips: 1. Learn to Parry, trust me, if you know how to parry this game will be easier, it isn't hard too to parry, if the enemy had "!" On top of his head you can perfectly parry it's attack, but there are some attacks you can't parry, like concierge fire trail and the pillar that make shockwave 2. Get the dlc, it's not really a tip, it's more like a recommendation, of course with more dlc, you get more weapon, more enemies to fight and of course new bosses to fight 3. Try having all your weapon and skill have the same color, but you can have 1 that off color so the next time you found a scroll that doesn't have the color that you need, atleast it has the color that you have 4. Try thinking what build you want before you played the game, i sometimes does this but you can also think about your build when you played at same time 5. This one isn't really a tip but more to an info, every time you beat HoTK you get boss stem cell, it used for increasing difficulty, the difficulty also decrease the amount of health fountain, at 1BC there still a health fountain but sometimes the game will give a flask that will refill 1 used of the flask, at 2BC it will destroy all the fountain and give you only a flask, at 3BC it will give you a flask after you beat a boss, at 4BC they will not give you flask so you have to buy it at the food shop if you want to refill your flask, At 5BC same as 4BC Well there's my tip, i hope you going to get famous soon

I think I beat it for the first time on my fourth or fifth try. It was fun. The 100% is a grind though.

Great job! I would take a run to work on dashing and movement, so you can get used to the i-frames, especially in the Hades Fight. The ground waves and a bunch of other attacks can be avoided by a well timed dash.

There is a dlc character Sammy, he starts with Vicious Hunger evolved Gatti Amari, that's straight broken for gold farming. He gains xp on gold pick up. So Disco of Gold for healing , Sarabande of Healing so your healing is doubled and does AOE damage, and Wicked Seasons is just stacking curse, greed, luck, and growth indefinitely or until you get bored. I've farmed billions of gold in runs...it got so bad for game performance they did an update to help with how laggy it would get.

Just so you know Hermes has some of the best boons in game. He is like the Hammer of the gods. You can get a chance to get his boons 2 or 4 times a game I think. I'm 220hrs in H2 rn, but it is the same in 2.

Considering that there now infinite rewinds in chimps I’d consider you able to do an expert map if you pick the right one I’d suggest quad witch is hard but probably the easiest multi plane map in expert cuz Eaton path goes 3 dips before leaving so you really only need to protect 1 or 2 path or the easiest option flooded Valley because it only has one path instead of like 6

ive done every s rank in about 4 days (but only moonshine mob and the giant guy) but before you say thats quick, i pulled an all nighter on each of those days just to beat STUPID HILDA BERG but after that first woman encounter i easily did the rest.

i would absolutely love a full 100% play through of this game where you get all the affinity with each character and get the true ending
