@@Pixie1001. bro WoTC made a fucking dugngeon with wheel chair accesability because some people were saying it was "ableist" that the handicapped couldn't become adventurers (even though a fucking healing spell or a god damn restoration spell could easily heal any person of their disabilities). hell, they even made a god damn COFFEE SHOP MODULE the "Work at Strixhaven's Firejolt Café", where your characters are not adventures who are exploring the world and fighting magical creatures, no no, that would be too cool, but your characters are fucking students, hell, one of the missions is to fucking clean an coffee machine, that if you were to open it, you would need to fight 2 magma mephits, the CR says it's 1/2 but not only the mobs can have more HP than the players, but they can also summon more mephits which can also spam the fucking fire breath which deals 2d6 on a 15ft cone radius, and if you end up killing them, they fucking explode, and the area where they need to fight them is so small, that the characters being hit by it, is pratically an guarantee, and they also have heat metal, which you cause 2d8 damage PER BONUS ACTION, and all of this happens with the party being LEVEL ONE!

A large amount of people at the studio are avid D&D players and have massive respect for the world and lore. Trying to introduce new players to the game and setting while working within the limitations of cross-platform Minecraft was incredibly hard, to say the least! Glad that people outside of the Bedrock community have enjoyed it, rather than giving it the 'overpriced microtransaction' label that is often ascribed to content on the store :)

Hearing Demogorgon monolog made me look up his stat block and I was blown away when I saw he had a 20 intelligence. I thought he was just a rampaging, angry monster but despite his motifs of madness they are actually brilliant.

Of course he's brilliant. He's a demon lord. You'd be hard pressed to find any of those with a low int score. Note: this is mostly to ensure PCs don't try to breed the demon. Seriously, boss monsters in dnd just slowly kept increasing wis and int since bards appeared.

Pretty cool story overall! Kind of annoyed at Demogorgon for monologuing about Out of the Abyss since he casually tosses in a bit of a story spoiler- I sent this to my friends who I plan to run the adventure for before finishing it so that’s really my fault lol. I made sure they were aware of that as soon as I realized… I really like that they actually used the ego of dragons- gold dragons are good aligned, but they’re still _dragons,_ so it’s completely in character for Vehr to risk Katra’s life and sanity. I like that she called him out on the “you think you’re more important than me” thing because even if Vaer is a good dragon, he is a dragon talking to a human. It is very likely that he would have that bias and superiority in him. I obviously don’t know how much they play into that since I only saw the snippets in this video, but still. I like that he was a flawed character because with how dragons tend to be very pure creatures of their alignment it can be easy to forget a pure lawful good creature can be flawed like that. “Human,” in a way, despite being so much more powerful than a human.

The idea that a gelatinous cube would leave a floor absolutely spotless is something I'd never even considered! In my opinion, that was the best part of the game. LENGTHY EDIT: Here's an idea for those who've chosen to make fun of me for apparently not knowing the most basic information about the above: I'm in my 50's and discovering late in life that I'm neurodivergent because of exactly how much I read, but can barely retain much of that information. I've read the entry on gelatinous cubes at least a dozen times. Want to know what I remember? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. HD, CR, AC...? Not a one. Alternatively, off the top of my head, I can tell you that 14-year-old Leonard Thompson was the first diabetic to receive an insulin injection in January of 1922. This insulin came from the work of Dr. Frederick Banting, Dr. Charles Best, J. J. R. Macleod, and Dr. James Collip. Macleod provided the resources to Banting, which included 10 dogs, the most that could be spared for testing. (I'm against vivisection, but since this is personal, I'll make an exception.) Best was one of TWO assistants available to Banting, but only one could be paid, so the choice was decided by a coin flip! After isolating insulin, Dr. James Collip refined and purified the would-be medication. Banting and Macleod won the Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine. They initially REJECTED the prize because it failed to include Collip and Best. They eventually accepted the award after it was agreed to share the prize money with Collip and Best. I wonder if you wouldn't enjoy Wynncraft after this too. It's a Java server that is effectively its own, free MMO made with just plugins, command blocks and a resource pack in Minecraft. Gear is primarily random loot with a ton of variety, you have a full on skill tree and I personally love how abilities are done - it's all a combination of left- and right-clicks, so fast spell execution has a bit of player skill involved in it as well. Plus, the music is iconic and as for the builds, when you have a build team led by Grian doing their job with passion, you're in good hands.

I’ll be honest, this was the best map on the marketplace I’ve ever bought. Genuinely. Amazing voice-acting, a decent Diablo IV style fighting system, and I’ll be honest here it wasn’t that bad of a story either. Still slightly sad you missed this really cool moment in a side quest tower where Vaer speaks through Kara to prove to a group of Dragonborns following Tiamat that yes, there *is* a dragon in this human’s body… and then Vaer gets a bunch of Dragonborn servants when he gets his body back so there’s that.

DnD is the single easiest thing in the world to find. being popular is literally the only good thing about the game, you can find a group at any FLGS or even nerd cafes (if there are any of either in your area), if you live in a rural hellscape (like me!) online groups are a dime a dozen.
